About this ebook
"LOVE,IS, THE BEAUTIFUL BLACK WOMAN" is a tribute to all Black Women. It is my praise and trophy to the strong independent women of color that I''ve met and yet to meet. The good, the bad , the indifferent. I hope my poems reflects and mirrors all the variety of women I admire and gain strength from.
This collection of poetry is my way of showing the greatest appreciation of our Beautiful Black Women. The positive and the not-so positive shades of their personalities;their ever-changing moods which I find so overwhelmingly attractive.
So, to their determined Spirit I dedicate this book---Queens All!!

Love, Is, the Beautiful Black Woman - Vernon J. Davis Jr.
LOVE IS
the Beautiful Black woman
Destined to become that, which has
never been
Across the stars, the universe
Her Love is as free as the wind
To grasp Her, to embrace Her, to
even love Her
Would be loving Love Itself
And what more would a man, want
Desire, or need
Love is the Beautiful Black woman
BLACKNESS DIVINE
She is the unique.
She is the bold.
She has fiery desire
That burns men’s inner soul.
She is, Blackness Divine.
She is the Creator.
She is Love.
She is that fantasy
That men are always wanting of.
She is, Blackness Divine.
A Dream? maybe
An Angel? yes
Dark Deep Love? Definitely!
She is, Blackness Divine,
What else?
YOU ARE THE SUN
You are the Sun
that shines love into
his heart, and gives
warmth to his soul.
Your fiery desire rushes
Its way into flaming ecstasy.
Your rays of love are never-ending.
They touch all aspects of him.
Engulfing him
with golden streams.
Covering him
With dazzling strings. Making
him crave for sunlight,
Your sunlight.
That brings light to his mind
and warmth to his soul.
Guiding light,
that shows him love.
NIGHT GODDESS
Night Goddess, throughout the night,
dancing on moonlight whispers
as silver as promises made,
but never kept.
Night Goddess, of the night,
your slender body moves in
harmony as your siren lips
enjoy the music you make.
Night Goddess, within the night,
eclipsed by the celestial
shadows of love which no
man will ever take.
For you are the Night Goddess.
Your kingdom is a nocturnal
rhapsody of cascading melodies.
Love will always come your way
by the beauty you cast out, dangling
it on a string, and you do
