About The Poet I am a woman who has experienced a lot of things in life and there were some lessons to be learned along the way. I just thank God, family and friends for their encouraging words of strength and wisdom. Now I am a mother and grandmother who try to inspire my children and grandson to be all they can be as long as they put God first and everything else will fall into place. The motivation and inspiration that continues me to write is God, my children, friends and one special person who showed me that I am a woman with potential as well as purpose and his name is Rudy Burdett. He has been wonderful in helping me put this all together and I just want to say thank you. Writing these poems gives me the opportunity to express my inner most thoughts and feelings about life and the situations we as Gods children experience in our day to day struggles in this world. Again, I hope that you the readers enjoy reading these heartfelt poems that come straight from the heart and soul of a woman.

(The Fulfillment My Words of Poetry Give)

The gift that I have been blessed with from heaven above has a purpose as well as meaning. They key word here is Purpose. I remember what a very dear and special friend said during a Sunday bible study…That we need to focus on our mission and purpose as Christians of the church as well as everyday life. The Lord has giving each and every one of us a talent the we must use to help educate those who are less fortunate as well as show them that they also possess a hidden talent. These talents can be shaped and formed into doing things of greatness. The words that I use in my poems consist of feelings we sometimes cannot verbally express, but through words, a simple smile or even a touch says it all. The small things in life are the most valued and atreasured gift that God himself knows goes a long way in sharing and caring.
