Preface

So who called you? When reading this book you will find that just maybe your journey was not an accident. The life you now live is predestined. It’s not by chance that something’s are the way they are. God inspired me over fifteen years ago in writing this book. I’ve written it over and over again. Now is the time to reveal who called me and why I was called. Some of us have many talents and gifts that God has given to us. Like so many others, God has blessed me with many talents. Writing this book happens to be one of them. When I was first inspired to write it, guess where I was, on the battlefield of insanity. Satan thought he had me, but now I am on the battlefield for God. God has brought me to a place in my life, where I know that he meets me there.

I’m hoping that you will be able to go with me in that place that only God and I share. Now I share it with you. I believe that in my secret place, you will find him waiting for you. I believe in my hearts of hearts, that you will feel the power of our relationship and how he has molded me and shaped me in His way.

Through my creative writing and poetry, I have learned to express my feelings from the inspiration of God. God gifted me with the ability to write and I believe God wanted me to share this experience with you in a unique way. Here I will reveal in fictional and non-fictional the way God had, and have influenced my life.

I pray that the words in this book will be encouraging, uplifting and enlightening to the readers. When you know that God choose you and he called you into His light, out of the darkness of this world, the burning inside becomes like an inferno and you just can’t contain it all. I hope and pray that you can walk away from this story and find that burning desire that waits for you in those darkest hours. Man sets you up for the fall, but God catches you after the fall. Jesus is the light of this world, not man. Twinkle, twinkle little star how I wonder where you are up above the world so high like a diamond in the sky. Look up in the sky is it a bird is it a plane no it’s Jesus. God sent Jesus to call you, to wake you up, now it is time to answer the call. Some say He’s a messenger, others call him a prophet, but I call him my savior, King of all Kings and Lord of all Lords.

When God calls us it is for his Glory and not ours. God will be glorified.

Chapter 1

The Calling

Colossians 3:14 (I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.)

I had a blast to my past and this is what I saw. In the year of 195–-, thought I tell you my age, I envisioned the spirit of God upon me. I believe that I was in a place with God, before my arriving here to this planet called Earth. I saw in my spirit a heavenly realm of beauty. God is in this place; I can feel His presence. I can hear him speaking to me. Kick your feet up, take a deep breath and travel with me into a place where God has called me. Who knows you just might be there waiting for me to arrive.

The rain had finally stopped and the sun was about to come from beneath the clouds. It had been raining for about two days now. She was in her last month of delivery. Yes, my mother was waiting to bring forth someone so special to this planet. She had always wanted a little girl. Of course I had a big brother crying for attention, so he found this to be no big deal. Any day now I would make my presence known. Well, it was this day.
