WHY DO I NEED THIS DIAMOND WISDOM?

The only problem in the world anybody has is wisdom. Every crisis is simply the result of lack of wisdom. Wisdom is the solution to all problems. That is why the Bible says wisdom answers all things. Wisdom is the way out to any problem. When you acquire wisdom, it will enable you to know where to turn when you get to the different junctions of life.

Our greatest pursuit in life should be wisdom. If you want to reign in life, top priority must be given to acquisition and utilization of wisdom. The wisest man said Exalt her (Wisdom) and she shall promote thee, she shall bring thee honour when thou embrace her (Proverbs 24:5 KJV).

It takes wisdom to reign as king in life. Wisdom said, ‘By me kings’ reign and princes decree justice. By me, princes rule and nobles, even all the judges of the earth (Proverbs 8:15 – 16 KJV). It is impossible for believers to reign as kings without wisdom. Although, Christ has made us kings and priests onto God (Rev 5:10) but without acquisition and utilization of wisdom, believers cannot reign. Solomon in one of his books said; "I have seen servants upon horses, and princes walking as servants upon the earth (Eccl 10: 7KJV).

Who are the servants and who are the princes? The servants are the unbelievers or wicked people (Sinners) while the princes are the believers. It is the believers that ought to be reigning like kings on the earth, but reverse is the case in our world. Why are some believers living like servants? It is simply because of lack of wisdom or inadequate application of wisdom.

Lazarus the beggar was a righteous man, yet he lived as a servant and died as a beggar; while his neighbour, the rich man was a wicked man, yet he enjoyed and lived like a king when he was on earth (Luke 16:19 -23). What made Lazarus to live and die as a servant despite his right standing with God?

It was because sound wisdom was absent from his life. The Holy Writ says, "Now I say, that the heir (believer) as long as he is a babe, he differeth nothing from a servant though he be the lord(master) of all (Galatians 4: 1 KJV).

Who is a babe? The scripture gives the answer, For everyone that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe (Hebrews 5:13 KJV). A babe is someone that is unskilful in the word of God and lack skilful wisdom. You need both godly and skilful wisdom to reign in life. There are six basic questions of life that can guarantee you good success in whatever you do if you are able to answer them correctly.

    Wisdom proffers solutions to these questions. They are;

    1. What: This deals with what your dreams and goals are. The wisest man said, Where there is no vision, the people perish. Most people without vision develop psychosomatic symptoms. Activity usually puts an end to these symptoms. Viable business or God given vision is the beginning of financial prosperity. Elder Joshua Awotona, my father often says, No goal, no gold. In other words, No dream, no dollars

    2. When: This talks about the issue of timing. Solomon said, To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven

    3. Where: The relevance of good location to any venture cannot be overstated. The Holy Writ says, As a bird that wandereth from her nest, so is a man that wandereth from his place. Somebody says, your location will determine your allocation

    4. Who: This deals with the issue of personnel. John C. Maxwell says, Team work makes the dream work.Do not be a lone ranger. When God wanted to create man, He said, let us make man in our own image. God had to invite Wisdom and the Holy Spirit before He could accomplish His vision of creation. You also need people of like minds to accomplish your goal.

    5. Why: It deals with the motives of your dream. Dr David Oyedepo, the founder of the world’s largest church auditorium says, Without a passion to enhance human dignity, your vision holds no future

    6. How: This involves the use of the right strategies to accomplish your vision. Solomon said. Without counsel purposes are disappointed; but in the multitude of counsellors they are established. Good strategy is the mother of good success.

Richard Branson, the owner of Virgin Airline in Britain was rated the eleventh wealthiest Briton few years ago. He rose to this position by the application of information he came across from reading a little book, small is beautiful. This book, Discovering the Diamond Wisdom will also impart you with the understanding to be outstanding in life and bring out the star in you. The book will reveal to you the principal source of diamond wisdom and the keys to have access into it. The wisest man said, A wise man will hear and increase learning and a man of understanding shall attain wise counsel

    MANDATE

T hus speaketh the LORD God of Israel, saying, Write thee all the words that I have spoken unto thee in a book. (Jeremiah 30: 2 KJV).

    BELIEVER’S PRAYER

Solomon replied, You were wonderfully kind to my father, David because he was honest and true and faithful to you. And you have continued this great kindness to him today by giving him a son to succeed him LORD my God, now you have made me king instead of my father, David, but I am like a little child who doesn’t know his way around. And here I am among your own chosen people, a nation so great that they are too numerous to count: Give me an understanding mind so that I can govern your people well and know the difference between right and wrong. For who by himself is able to govern this great nation of yours (1 Kings 3: 6-9).

    INTRODUCTION

Diamond is the hardest naturally occurring substance in the world. It is not susceptible and subjected to rust. It cannot also dissolve in acid.  Diamond stands for something strong, long lasting and special, while wisdom can be defined as the strategy to do work. Therefore, Diamond wisdom means special wisdom or treasures of wisdom, which are instructions of wisdom to attain greater heights in life, live a life of honour, tragedy-free life and have good success. Solomon, while counseling his son said,

My son, hear the instructions of your father and do not forsake the law of your mother; for they will be a graceful ornament on your head, and chains about your neck"

    [Proverbs 1: 8-9]. NLT

This scripture reveals that instruction prevents destruction and it leads to manifestation of glory. Diamond wisdom is the only kind of wisdom that can withstand the storms of life. Jesus shed a little light on this in one of His messages. He said,

Whosoever cometh to Me and heareth My sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom is like: He is like a man which built a house and diggeth deep, and laid the foundation on a rock; and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it has been founded upon a Rock"

    (Luke 6: 47-48 KJV).

When you have access into ‘Diamond Wisdom’ that is hidden in Jesus or embedded in the Scriptures, you will become unbeatable by the world.

The Rock that the wise man in the above scriptures built his house upon was Christ. When you are built upon this Rock, the kingdom of darkness cannot prevail over you. This is exactly what Jesus meant when He told Peter that, Upon this Rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail. Jesus was saying that His Church shall be built upon Diamond Wisdom, which is the anointing for scriptural revelation. The Church must be built upon the revelation wisdom from Christ if she wants to survive in this world. That is why Jesus said that the Holy Spirit would not speak of His own authority as all-knowing God but He would receive treasures of wisdom from Him and make it known unto the Church. Jesus said,

Howbeit when He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth: for He shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that He shall speak; and He will shew you things to come. He shall glorify Me: for He shall receive of Mine and shew it unto you" (John 16: 13-14 KJV).

Jesus was saying that the Holy Spirit would not tax Himself to impart us with treasures of wisdom but He would be receiving the treasures of wisdom from Him and make it known unto the Church. The revelation wisdom, which we receive from the Holy Spirit, actually comes from Jesus.

It is only Diamond Wisdom that can withstand the test of time, all other wisdom will fade out with time but only Diamond Wisdom endures forever. When I was discussing with a geologist about the substance called Diamond. He revealed that Diamond is so strong that it can be used to cut and break any other minerals. This means that the strongest obstacles will give ways to Diamond Wisdom. It shows there is no other force that can withstand diamond wisdom. That is why the Bible says, The voice of the Lord breaketh the cedars:yea the LORD breaketh the cedars of Lebanon(Psalms 29:5 KJV).

The voice of the LORD means the word of wisdom. When you are baptized with Diamond Wisdom, you will become as strong as rock. The wisest man confirmed this truth. He said, A wise man is strong: yea a man of knowledge increaseth strength (Proverbs 24: 5 KJV).

Wisdom is the surest way to great promotion. The scripture says, Exalt her and she will promote you, she will bring you honour when you embrace her (Proverbs 4: 8}.

Promotion comes by exalting wisdom. Joseph is one of the men in the scriptures that enjoyed the promotion and reward of wisdom. His desire for wisdom started as a result of dream he had (Genesis 37: 9) and when the wisdom was full in him, he was promoted to the rank of second – in- command in a foreign land (Egypt). He was so highly honoured to the level that all knees were bowing before him (Genesis 41: 43 NLT).  The spirit of wisdom that was at work in him made Joseph to be a man of authority. The Bible says,

Pharaoh placed his own signet ring on Joseph’s finger as a symbol of his authority. He dressed him in beautiful clothing and placed the royal gold chain about his neck

    [Genesis 41:42 NLT].

Wisdom will make you a man of authority when you possess it. When Daniel also found wisdom, he was greatly honoured. Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon, accepted the superiority of wisdom that was in him and bowed himself to the ground before him (Daniel 2:46). There is nothing other than wisdom that can make a king to bow before a slave. Kings only bow for men of wisdom. This is because without wisdom they cannot reign.

Wisdom is indeed the principal thing. When a man has an unhindered access into treasures of wisdom, the wisdom would make him to be ten times better than his counterpart who only relies on power. The Bible says, Wisdom strengthened the wise more than ten mighty men that are in the city {Ecclesiastes 7: 19}. David was ten times better than Saul because he had a good link with the wisdom of God while Saul did not. King Saul was a man anointed with God’s power and with this anointing he killed thousands but David through his access into treasures of wisdom killed ten thousands. This truth is revealed in 1Samuel 18: 6.

But something happened when the victorious Israelites army was returning home after David had killed Goliath. Women came out in from all the towns along the way to celebrate and cheer King Saul, and they sang and danced for joy with tambourines and cymbals. This was their song, "Saul killed his thousands and David his ten thousands.

The advantage that David had over Saul was not the anointing but wisdom. What made the difference between David and Saul was wisdom. Daniel and his men were also ten times better than all the men of Babylon through wisdom (Dan 1: 20). This was possible because David and Daniel had a full access into treasures of wisdom. If you want your anointing to be ten times increased, you need a measure of sound wisdom. The Bible says, A wise man is strong, yea a man of knowledge increaseth strength. (Proverbs 24:5 KJV). The knowledge of wisdom will increase your anointing (power).

It’s also wisdom that made 300 soldiers to be preferred and selected above the 32,000 soldiers recruited by Gideon to fight the battle against the Midianites. The Gideon’s army was selected by subjecting the soldiers to two tests. The first test was the test of faith. The Bible says:

And the Lord said to Gideon; the people that are with thee are too many for me to give the Midianites into their hands.... Now therefore go to, proclaim in the ears of the people saying, whosoever is fearful and afraid, let him return and depart early from Mount Gilead; And there returned of the people twenty and two thousand; and there remained 10,000 (Judges 7: 2-3 KJV)

Only 10,000 soldiers passed the test of faith out of 32,000 soldiers but this did not qualify the 10,000 soldiers to be selected among the Gideon’s army. The remaining 10,000 soldiers were subjected to the second test, which was the test of wisdom. The Bible says,

And the Lord said unto Gideon the people are yet too many’ bring them down into the water, and I will try them for thee there. So he brought down the people unto the water; and Lord said unto Gideon everyone that lappeth of the water with his tongue, as dog lappeth, him shall thou set by himself; likewise everyone that boweth down upon his knees to drink. And the number of them that lapped, putting their hand to their mouth were 300 men but all the rest of the people bowed down upon their knees to drink water. And the lord said to Gideon, by the 300 men that lapped will I save you and deliver the midianite, into thine hand and let the other people go every one into his place (verse 4 –7).

Some soldiers bowed down upon their knees to drink water. The word, Bowed down upon their knees, means that they were prayerful but the problem with them was that they were not watchful and Jesus did not say that we should be only prayerful, but to be prayerful and watchful. It was 300 soldiers that passed the test of wisdom out of 10,000 soldiers that were tested. This is an indication that only few people realise the value of wisdom. The rejected 9,700 soldiers failed because they were not wise, their level of intelligence was quite low. They were neither alert [watchful], nor battle ready like Solomon’s guard which the scripture says,

They all hold swords being expert in war; every man hath his sword upon his thigh because of fear in the night (Song of Solomon 3:8 KJV).

The successful 300 soldiers were selected because they were wise, expert in war; they used one hand to drink water and lapped it up with their tongues while using the other hand to hold their weapons. They acted like Nehemiah’s servants who were battle-ready. The Nehemiah said,

During this time, none of us-not I, nor my relatives, nor my servants, nor the guards who were with me ever took off our clothes, we carried our weapons with us all times even when we went for water (Nehemiah 4: 23 NLT)

The 9700 soldiers who passed the first test {test of faith} were rejected because they did not go for extra oil, they only had another spirit, which is the spirit of faith but lacked the excellent spirit. The excellent spirit was only found in the 300 soldiers. This kind of excellent spirit was also found in Daniel and made him to be preferred above his colleagues. The Bible says,

Then this Daniel was preferred above the president and princes because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him in the whole realm (Daniel 6: 3).

It is not enough to possess the spirit of faith, an excellent spirit must be added to do the work of God excellently and have breakthrough in life. A man of faith is of another spirit while a man of understanding is of an excellent spirit (Proverbs 17: 27b).

This book in your hand will expose you to the treasures that are hidden in wisdom and also will show you the unfailing access to the God-given wisdom.

I pray from my heart, that as you read through this book, you will find wisdom and then enjoy the fruit of the treasures of wisdom in Jesus name. Amen. Therefore, Buy the truth and sell it not; also wisdom and instruction and understanding (Proverbs 23: 23).
