Sarah woke up in a cold sweat and shaking. She had been having those nightmares again. Those same nightmares where... She tried not to think about it. It was bad enough having these recurring nightmares, let alone think about it. And yet, she felt a need to tell someone. But would anyone believe her? Would they believe the outrageous stories she had to tell? She didn’t think it was possible to ever reveal the kinds of things she saw in her dreams. Some were terrifying. Some were just amazing and unbelievable. And the places she had seen – they were beyond anyone’s imagination.

As she lay there on the sofa she reached down and touched herself. She felt her genitals. Nothing seemed amiss and she didn’t feel sore or anything. Obviously, they were just dreams she had been having and yet… they felt so real and they were so vivid. The scenery, the colours, the places she had visited. How could it all be a dream? And how could it be a dream when they said, these days, that dreams were just your brain sorting out things you had experienced and putting it all down into memory? Bullshit!
