Love U with All My Heart!: Texting Our Devotions
By Robin Stolz
()
About this ebook
Yes, Love U with All My Heart is a texted verse every day from dear old Mom. These are just a few that I picked to share.
I have learned what being faithful to my girls can be, by finding a verse, and I have been blessed by looking to His Word as I have become faithful to Him.
I challenge each of you to take this journey with your kids, your husbands, and yourself. I know I didnt get what I was thinking I would by the girls looking for their verse, but every day they got one from the Lord because I never gave up.
Dont give up. Our Lord is always waiting for us to see Him, hear Him, and enjoy our walks with Him! Who knows how many of these verses my girls will be able to bring out of their hearts filing cabinet just because we texted!
Love u with all my heart!
A mom
PS: Now its your turn to text on Gods message!

Exodus 14:14
Alex: I like it….
What does it say to you?
Alex: Listen to God.
Hmmmmm, I saw it also as saying thank u Lord for the reminder to have faith. That ur in control and I need to stay in ur word and know it will be all right with u on my side. Instead of giving into despair we need to stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will bring.
Alex: Yep

My verse for today: Proverbs 10:9
Love u with all my heart!
Alex: K love u too. Psalm 119:1
I have that marked in my Bible! Also in verses 9-12, The footnote says memorization alone will not keep u from sin…. we must also put Gods Word to work in our lives…. making it a vital guide for everything we do…. VERY GOOD VERSE!!!! For us both 33921.jpg
U know psalms 119 is the longest Psalm?

1 Timothy 4:12 Do not let anyone look down on u because u r young, but set an example for the believers in speech, life, love, faith, and purity.
I was looking for the Fight the Good Fight
verse but this is pretty much the same. Paul is talking to Timothy as he is going out setting an example to Fight the Good Fight.
He not only is to live but to also teach.
So much of what others think about being a believer is what they see in u. Give them a great painting of God’s handy work!
Love you with all my heart!

John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice and I know them, and they follow me.
God’s always there wishing to speak to us…. He knows us bc we are believers and wants us to follow Him by listening to Him through His Word.

Mark 1:35 Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where He prayed.
Thought this was neat that since u r to become more Christlike we too r to go pray. My solitary place is sometimes when I 1st wake up…. laying in bed and just going over the day in my head what I have to do…. kind of talk it over with God to give me strength, wisdom and the ability to do what I have to do with Him as my guide. Then again…. may sound weird but I know I have to go pottie
…. so I keep my devotion book there on the tub and I read and pray sitting on the side of the tub.(when u guys were little the bathroom was my only escape 33933.jpg )…. shower is also a great place for prayers…. as is putting on my makeup as I get ready for the day…. and I can look at myself and say…. Help me to do ur will so u (God) will be glorified…. and even then I do mess up and have to ask for forgiveness…. I guess that’s where the pray without ceasing comes into play…. not only for asking for forgiveness…. but thank you for the lesson and let me see what u want me to learn…. WOW, what a lot of thought from that little ole verse….
Love u with all my heart!
Talking to myself:
01/24/11
I’m actually going to make this a journal of the Bible verses my daughter, Alex, and I text to each other while she is at Bama Spring 2011. We said we would each send a verse every day to each other, and I just wanted to keep up with them and what we said about them.
Just a note so far… Alex has sent one, and I many. I am going back on my phone to see them. I started out just sending the book, chapter, and verse but have since been writing the verse itself so that Alex sees the entire verse. I don’t think she was always looking them up. Hopefully by writing it all, she will have some of God’s truth right there every morning for at least a quick glance that she may use.
P.S. Going to send to my eldest daughter, Amanda, too!
*Now to erase the phone and start new with tomorrow’s verse, which is Aunt Rachal’s Birthday!

Jeremiah 33:3: Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things u do not know.
God is always standing at the door, knocking and wanting a deep, intimate relationship with u. He is always waiting to hear from you and is always there! Becky Romine, our Bible study leader, said last night after preparing for today’s lesson, she went to her daughter’s room. She and Bailey talked about how if they could talk to each other, sharing fun, silly, or serious things by opening up and talking to each other since she is a mom and was always there to listen, they would also experience the joy God has when they talk to him. She also posed the opposite question. She asked Bailey, How do you think I would feel if u didn’t talk or share with me?
Sad
was Bailey’s answer—which is exactly how God feels when we turn our noses to Him and don’t come to Him—so talk to God, and don’t forget your momma. 33936.jpg
Love u with all my heart!
Alex: Love u, too. And I have a stomach bug. 33863.jpg

Proverbs 31:25: She is clothed with strength and dignity, she can laugh at the days to come.
Proverbs 31 has so much for us as women! We won’t be able to do it all, but this is a perfect guide for us to try and become virtuous women who love the Lord and have His strength through His Word. The woman portrayed has dignity; she holds her head high by knowing what is right by putting His Word in her heart, and she has the ability to laugh or rejoice at what’s to come, because she has Him by her side to carry on!
I love u with all my heart!
Have a joyful day, and be guided by God’s truth!
P.S. Okay, now change all the instances of she
to we,
we
to us,
and I
and my
to me!
The Bible was written for you and me as believers, so reading it in first person helps me to see that. It is amazing that it is so very personal!
Alex: I like the verse.
Side note on Alex wanting to drop history… and this was the end of our texting—last words of wisdom, haha!
I know u can do it. U do it anyway in things u like. Ur going to find there are a lot of things u don’t like to do but have to do—and do them well. Again (I seem to like this), doing something well is glorifying God with your strength, dignity, and the character He gives u. He doesn’t ask for us to be halfway. He asks for us totally but gives us the choice to give it all or be half-baked. Do good, my little Griswold! 33938.jpg

Prayer:
Man, yesterday had a lot of texting—today, let’s see. Amazing how my mind is filled with support for my kids. Alex seems to be getting gobs; Amanda and I talk much more everyday. Thank you for her phone calls, and thank you for letting me be here for her. Help me to continue to offer your words and ways.
Good morning, sunshine!
Matthew 7:7: Ask and it will be given you, seek and you will find, knock and it will be opened to you.
Funny thing—I was looking for a verse for today. I tried several using ur number six. Then I looked this first one up using one of my favorites, number seven, and as I was getting ready to send, I thought, No, this isn’t the one. So I opened the booklet we had at the Outback retreat and turned to a page that had Luke 11:9: So I say to you ask and it will be given to you, seek and you will find, knock and the door will be opened to you.
Hmm—guess this was the verse meant for today!
Remember as u ask to go
