About this ebook
Rev. Roger Phillip Drews
Born in Akron Ohio, Roger Phillip Drews, a retired Lutheran pastor has always been interested in the meanings of words. A great cross word puzzle aficionado, he searches for original meaning of other languages as well as the Greek Bible text. This Bible study of Revelation has been an accumulation over many years for his classes. Most of the members of the Bible class which started in 1999, are still his students as well as being good friends. Roger was pastor in Burnsville MN, Oak Creek WI, Woodbury MN, Hickory NC, China Grove NC, Madisonville KY and Evansville, IN. When health issues required him to retire he moved back to Oak Creek WI where he still resides. Roger’s bass voice is appreciated as a long-time member of the Lutheran Chorale of Milwaukee. He is father to 4 sons (one now deceased) and 3 daughters. He has 15 grandchildren and 2 great-grand daughters. He married his high school sweetheart 50 years after high school, after both their spouses died. A great fisherman, he rarely comes home without a catch. However, his greatest joy is being a “fisher of men” as the Lord called him to be.
