    A few years ago I was lucky enough to have met someone that changed my life forever. This someone helped me learn to love and allow myself to be loved. He showed me a view of the world that I had forgotten existed. He taught me life lessons with the wisdom of a 90 year old, and he helped me remember how to smile and laugh again. For one person to have that much of an effect on another person is impressive to say the least. When that person is a 4 year old boy, it is extraordinary. His name is Jayden, and I call him my Jayden Monkey.

    I met Jayden when he was only 2. I dated his mom, Juli, for a year and a half. She is fantastic. Unfortunately, things didn’t work out between us. While she and I dated, I formed a great bond with Jayden. He took those tiny hands, and he gripped my heart. After she and I separated, I lost a wonderful girl and my best friend. I also lost my little man. Time had passed after our separation. We all realized how much Jayden and I really missed each other, and how much we
