About this ebook
Joseph Goodman
My name is Joseph Goodman. I am from Clinton North Carolina which is a very small city. It seems like everyone was related in someway or another. I was a part of a big family but always seemed like the strange one; never really had friends or people I could relate with. I was a troubled child with a very sick mother and on top of that I was a paranoid schizophrenic. As I grew up I found the wrong crowd because I felt I could belong. This book is about my struggle with drugs, the loss of my wife, my feelings as a paranoid schizophrenic, and as I down spiraled to my death I was caught up by a loving God who showed me I was perfect the way I was ,and he put a flame in my heart that lights my way. The lessons I learned was not anything you could learn from a book because as I suffered with mental illness, my spirit was in trouble. I had to find peace with myself, learn who I was and win a battle of emotional torrament in my soul. My mind had its thoughts but my emotions ruled what I done with my life. My experiences qualifies me to write this book despite what I was taught from physicians. I defeated the biggest giant in my life and lived to tell about it and this book will show you how to defeat your giant obstacles, and give you a fire to help light your way.

A Note from the Author
My name is Joseph Sean Goodman and I was once one of the billions of stars that you look up and see at night, one day my flame seemed to burn out and I found myself falling as fast as I could to the ground. I’ve been divorced, poisoned and left for dead, held at gun point, and forced to do drugs. I married again and my wife passed away, my kids that I had raised for nine long years were taken away, I sold drugs to survive, I had a habit of drinking and smoking marijuana daily, taking prescription pills and snorting powder four times a week, and smoking crack. But God saved me and has delivered me there’s still a lot of work to be done but I am striving to make heaven my home one day. I don’t have much of an education and most of the words I have
