About this ebook
Clarence Johnson
I was born in Atlanta, Georgia and I now reside in Riverdale, Georgia. I’ve been writing for quite some time and I’m thankful that God led me to my talent and showed me the way. I’ve been happy every since. In life; it’s not always about making money all the time, even though we do need money to live. One of the most important things in the world is finding out who you are. God gives all of us a talent and it’s up to us to find it and use it. Don’t be discouraged by thinking you’re too old or to young to find your talent; your talent can be found at any age. Finding your talent can be one of the most fulfilling things in life for anyone. Never let people tell you what you can and can’t do in life. It’s up to you to find out for yourself, and you’ll never know if you don’t try. I hope that you all will purchase my book, and I’m sure whether you like all of my poems, it’s a poem in my book for you, or maybe a friend or a love one.

Our Daily Living
A Dear Friend
You’ve been my friend for many of years, we’ve had good days and some we shed tears. If you had two dollars, and I had one too; we looked out for one another, that’s what good friends do. It’s our anniversary and we made it again, with you as my friend, that’s why we always win. We have good times with the things we do, how many people can say this, probably only a few. Our friendship has grown as we shared good times; one day I’m hoping you will soon be mine. I think of our friendship when you’re not around; I’m glad you’re my dear friend and you didn’t let me down. Happy anniversary to you, and happy anniversary to us, we’re still together with God and our trust.
A Peace of Mind
A peace of mind is worth more than money and fame; you need clear thinking just not to go insane. Don’t let problems or money get you down; keep your sanity, for they will surely put you in the ground. Make time for yourself and get your life right; go out and have fun, and stop letting people get you uptight. There’s only one of you, and in life people move on, so get your life together, hold on and stay strong. Never show weakness, because people will take advantage of that; they’re rob you and wrong you, and won’t care where you at. If you have a husband, friend or wife, and they can’t see you through; get them off your back, and tell them this won’t do. You need a peace of mind, just to make it through the day; you need a peace of mind, just to earn your pay. Walk with pride, but keep your head right; go to sleep on time, and try to sleep all night. When you have a peace of mind, and all your problems are gone, you can really see clearly, and know the one’s who have done you wrong. Stay away from trouble, for it will always get you down; keep your mind at peace, and I’m sure you’ll be around. Trouble in the morning and trouble at night, keep your mind together, and keep trouble out of sight. With a peace of mind, you can be king of the world; it doesn’t make any difference who you are, man, woman, boy or girl.
A Walk in the Park
I took a walk in the Park just to get my head right, after walking until dark there were no one in sight. I sat on the bench just to rest my feet; after sitting five minutes, I was ready to eat. I walked through the Park just to go to the store, when I got to the front, they were closing the door. I said man what a walk, but no food to eat; I needed to get some food so I could go to sleep. I finally went home to get a little rest; my stomach was still growling and wasn’t doing its best. I didn’t sleep well and I felt real bad; the walk in the Park was all I had. I got up the next day to go to the Park; my stomach said to me, don’t walk until dark. I stopped by a Restaurant and got me some food; my stomach was happy and in a better mood. The sun was shining and it was a beautiful day; people were holding hands and smiling, and the kids were running to play. My walk in the Park put a smile on my face; I saw a beautiful woman and I was really amazed. It made my day and I had a good walk; the smile on my face was worth more than I ever bought.
Being Professional
In life be professional at what ever job you may pursue, or what ever profession you may enter. Be punctual, be fair and treat others right, so you can always go home and sleep at night. Being a professional is not a game; it’s really being serious and maintaining your name. A professional knows their job, and they make sure they do it right, they take care of the details and anything else in sight. A professional greets you with a smile and they know their game, when you enter their door they can say your name. It’s important to know names and know what’s in store; you’ll never know what’s in front of you coming through the door. Being a professional means being polite, always on time, ready for anything, that’s on the other people mind. You may have decisions that are hard to decide, but when confronting these problems you can’t run and hide. Stay there and be professional and do what you know, let the other people know that this is your show. Always be professional and listen to
