Zack uses his imagination to keep himself from getting bored. Being a respectful and obedient son, he follows his dads instructions and talks to a tree. He formed a strong bond and friendship with the giant granddaddy tree.
He longed for a friend his own age to play sports and fight imaginary pirates with his wooden swords. Surprisingly he got two more best friends, and life was grand. After a surprise accident, Tom, Zacks dad, learned to really appreciate his role as dad. Angie, Zacks mom, was a hardworking wife and a patient mom. Her stress level was high though when she had to assume two jobs. Its a heartwarming book and reminds you of the true meaning of family.

Cherobin was honorably discharged from the US military and became a firefighter with 12 years of service before injuries compelled a disability retirement. Cherobin then entered a school of higher learning and pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree, and is happily married with seven children, the youngest being a phenomenal four year old whose ability to read at an early age served as the inspiration for the Zoomy Boomy series. Cherobin enjoys traveling, reading, and supporting childrens causes, committing 10% of book profits to St Jude Childrens Research Hospital.
