Few years ago I migrated to the United Kingdom where I am still living. I am the third child of eight children, born to two blessed loving parents Mrs. Dolly Agatha Henrietta Hodge and Mr. Wilfred Adolphus Hodge, who were both born in the beautiful Island of St. Kitts/ St. Christopher, Leeward Island, West Indies. I am blessed, being the first male born to my mother according to Gods holy written word, which can be found in the Gospel of St. Luke: ch; 2 v 23. My/ our loving mother at a very early age wisely and practically laid a solid foundation, which is build on Jesus Christ our Lord, by taking all eight of us to church and Sunday school, where we heard the word of God for ourselves, whereby we were able to learn, grow and imitates her as she led the way practically by example showing us how to build on the strong and solid foundation that is laid. Personally I gave my heart to the Lord at age 13, one Sunday night on the 30th May, 1967, after hearing the Gospel preached by an Evangelist T.C. Taylor ( nick-name Town Counsel Taylor), a former soldier from the Island of Jamaica. The Psalmist never hesitates to encourage the importance of allowing the Lord to do the building, in all areas of our lives.

Finally after years of serving the Lord, one Tuesday night while attending a crusade, I received a word of prophecy from God the Holy Spirit through an Evangelist, Rev Rita Partin Spaulding of Tennessee, USA, and An international crusade speaker. From that time God did a dramatic U-turn on my whole entire life, totally destroying all my Plans and replacing it with His Will, Plans and Purpose for my new life, and this poem book A Wave of Inspirational Poems, is also a part of His Plans. I pray as you read these poems; your life too will be greatly blessed with Waves of God Holy Spirit given Inspiration!

Introduction

It was D ECISION TIME, at this stage of my life, I was all alone, and only at this point I came face to face with Mr. Loneliness, Loneliness on a short term span; is quite a brain searching, heart warming, nerve relaxing, and a good medication for all men at intervals of life. It is the experienced of having a cold shower, after a hot, hard long day at work.

On the other hand, long term loneliness, is a form of physical, social and mental imprisoned punishment, for a crime committed, having the hand-cuffs or shackles roughly placed on your hands, and finally having the Iron Gate, mercilessly closing on you while still in hand-cuffs, and all the keys thrown away. At this critical time of life I had to make my choice. I had to choose between the positive road of life, and the negative road of life.

Finally, I prayed to God for His help, direction and guidance as I choose the positive road of life, which consists of constant prayer and fasting. Therefore I am giving you a very early warning, young men, young women, older men, older women, rich or poor, saints or sinners. It matters not what language, creed, color or nationality, as a human being, ask God to grant you wisdom, to avoid the pit – fall of long term imprisoned punishment of Mr. Merciless Loneliness, at all stages of life’s journey.

This wave of inspiration came about during a time of constant prayer and fasting. In 2000, my daughter went off to university in the USA to pursue a degree. As a father, who has love for both his two children, I grew concerned for their spiritual and daily walk with God, so I decided to dedicate and sacrifice my time to prayer and fasting for her success; of which God brought her through. Thank you Jesus! To God Be the Glory!

Prayer and fasting, is a pattern I got from my mother, who had eight children and who committed herself to fasting and praying for her children even until the last moments of her life. Because our mother constantly prayed for us, we
