Aurea was born and raised in South Africa. She lives with her mom, dad and brother. Attending church from a very young age, she always enjoyed watching the pastor and singers, aspiring to be like them one day. Giving her heart to Christ in her teens, she then joined a band, blessing people with her angelic voice. Over the years, God has brought her through many battles and lessons, strengthening her faith daily. But until Aurea matriculated, her command of the English language was ‘bearable’. Just proof that this book is indeed Holy Spirit guided. Be blessed by it.

AUTHOR’S MESSAGE TO THE READER
29554.pngDear Reader
It was an awesome experience writing this book. As most of you may know, these words are not my own. This book is definitely God-inspired and written through the Holy Spirit. My role in this book is just writing what God says. I remember that day like it was yesterday when God instructed me to write this book and call it ‘Ways of Life’.
I remember, in 2008, I was (and still am) so addicted to God that I just wanted the whole world to hear about my saviour and friend, Jesus Christ. I went so crazy that I would replay scenes of myself preaching to an audience over and over in my head until one day I said to myself that I am really good at this, and that is when God spoke to me. It was as if He completed my sentence by saying, ‘And that is why I need you to write a book… and call it the Ways of Life.’
I was shocked yet excited because I have never done this in my life before. Sure there were school essays, but they stand no chance compared to a book. Later that day, I took a book and asked God to be my hand and thoughts and write down all the facts and prayed to Him that this is exactly what I wanted to do. A few minutes later, I saw two pages full of writing, which was written using a black pen. I must admit that the names of the first two chapters were my suggestions, and when it came to naming Chapter 6, I really began to doubt and lose faith. Then God just said in His normal gentle voice, ‘Aurea, just write it down… making Christianity a way of life.’
I also promise you that these words are not my own. At the beginning of each chapter, I asked God to sort of possess or hypnotize me so that I would only write down what God wanted to write. Trust me, dear friends, it is God who wrote the words in this book and not me. To be honest, if I had written this book, I would have never thought of the situation this way or from this point of view, and if it were me, I would still be writing this book. So this is as much a learning process that it is for you as it is for me.
I hope you enjoy it. Take to heart the teachings in this book, and decide to grow. I hope that someday we will meet, on earth and in heaven. I love you, dear friend, and God bless.
