Chaplain Hattie McGill is a Clinical Social Worker II, Certified Pastoral Chaplain, Sunday School Teacher, Missionary, Professional Gospel Singer, and Mother of three sons, two daughter in laws, and five grand children. She received her Bachelor of Psychology from Texas A& M Corpus Christi, received her Associate of Liberal Arts degree from Mclennan Community College, Waco, Texas, her Pastoral Chaplain Certificate from the Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center in Waco, Texas. She is a Native of Oakdale, Louisiana, but have been in Texas most of her adult life. She has many credits to her writing starting at Mclennan Community College ( MCC), Waco Texas, where she was a student staff member of the school Newspaper the 'MCC Tribune Herald.' She is a featured poet at Poetry.Com, where some of her work on CD is located. Her writing includes Poetry, Short Stories, Non-Fiction, and her favorite Children Books. She has recently performed as the Lead Actress live in a community play named "Crowns The Gospel Musical" at the Waco Civic Theatre. Currently, she is working on her Next book, It will be one which tells about the sorrows of Bullying, and the Triumphs that can come from a child with a Determination, and strong faith in God not to become a Victim. Writing for children is her God given ability, and her Passion.
