About this ebook
A WORLD OF WORDS is a unique collection of verse penned by a broad range of poets who do not exist, except in the mind and imagination of Rafael Lopez, creator of a world called Eath. That mystical realm will be richly detailed in both poetry and prose, but with this volume the author presents a stunning glimpse through the majesty of his words. A world of words. Deep and contemplative, this debut collection of poetic jewels will convey you to a serene place within . . . a place you will wish to visit again and again. ~ Lori R. Lopez, author of AN ILL WIND BLOWS and DANCE OF THE CHUPACABRAS.

Preface
A World Of Words is the first book published by the amazing poet and historian Yution Keckith. In it is presented some of his favorite poetry, written and read. Along with collecting their poetry, Keckith has used his knowledge of history to write short biographies for each writer whose work is featured in this book. You can read those at the end of the volume.
I, being a good friend of Yution, was asked by him to write a brief introduction for the readers of this book. ’Tis a great honor to do this for a respected man such as Keckith. He has great talent in words and is widely known for his historic perspectives.
When the young Keckith first came to Kudaith, he was more excited to learn history than most of the chaps who grew up in The Empire. Some might say it shows how people desire what they have not around them. But then, the day we are satisfied with what is around us and cease striving for something else, I personally think that is the day we stop living. For what is life without a dream to work towards? Keckith, indeed, had a dream he was determined to achieve.
Later on I had the privilege of having him in my classroom, but now his voice in the historic community has surpassed my own, even though he may disagree with that statement himself.
The collection Yution has put together includes poetry spanning from the beginning of writing to the end of The First Reign Era. With, of course, the exception of his own poetry that was written during The Second Reign Era.
The enormous amount of writing he searched through to find these poems was vast, yet, even harder was the process of choosing these from the others he knew of or found. He plans to compile more volumes to include the remainder of his favorite poems.
The name A World Of Words comes from one of his own poems by the same name. ’Tis a poem about how we can find the poetry of words everywhere we turn and, if we know how to listen, hear them speaking. It is one of his poems included in this book. Along with his own, there are a great variety of poems by the supreme minds and masters of words from many empires on Eath.
Even though the verse contained within this volume is what he regards as his favorite pieces, I believe they are cherished by many others as well. I trust that you, as I did, will enjoy this splendid collection of some of the greatest poets of all time. I, as Keckith believes, verily feel that poetry is a wondrous thing and no matter who they are, everyone can benefit from reading it. As one grand poet put it: Writing is one of The gems of humanity
.

RL Note
I present this book as it should be if someone living on Eath read it. Except for the cover and this note, of course, and a few changes where my name appears. Enjoy and have a wonderful day.

A Moment Of

Writing
Writing poetry
Or writing stories
Or merely writing
They all are ways to capture
A moment
A moment of peaceful and serene
Landscapes
A moment of turmoil
A moment of brilliance
Or writing can capture
A moment in the path of time
To make that moment freeze
And the hour stop
Or to describe
A moment
A moment of history
That is performed in front of thee
Or to describe a moment of memory
Writing is strong
’Tis bold and powerful
And it shall be lingering
Even when we are not
Writing can transport
A moment of
Anything
Writing will save that moment
So that you may share its radiance
To the latter people who live
Our Words
by Yenba
Walking through the meadow
Strolling through waves
Of wind
Riding the sky’s elegant touch
Sitting upon the edges of the ocean
The rim of the land
The beautiful things we see
Can only be so
For a moment or two
Moments that flee into time
As new ones come along
Yet the beauty of words
Stays with the world
Till the strings of time
Finish their song
Writing will speak for us
When we cannot find the courage
To speak for ourselves
And even when we pass from life
Our writing will speak for us
The beauty of our words
Will come and stay
As other moments pass away
Words Imperishable
by Yenba
Many a word
Floats in the rippling wind
Many to catch or breathe
However
They do not land upon any mind
But await someone
Who will use them
Who will create with them
Who will paint with them
For all that one may achieve
With the mightiest of swords
Has a fated end
It shall not stay so, forever
Yet words are immortal
Once recorded
They are carved into the wheels of time
And shall ever be there
To inspire and teach others
In the later days
For always
Our Land Is One
by Hefmok
The far of Eath
The close land I see
The air through my teeth
The wind beyond thee
Your home on Eath
Far away it seems
Yonder lands above or beneath
Outlasting the distance of all streams
Yet no place is alone
For everywhere
Once upon a time the Sun shone
To make all land fair
No land forsaken
No person solitary
That would be quite mistaken
As no
