CHAPTER ONE
Gina’s Big Day
It was Gina’s wedding. I was excited, extremely. It reminded me of when I got married 3 years ago; the euphoria and memories just kept coming back. Gina and her husband-to-be, Alvin, met through me. It was a joy to finally see the two tie the knot. More so, Gina played a key role during my wedding; she was part of my bridesmaids so I couldn’t wait to return a favor.
That morning, I hurriedly prepared my two-year-old daughter for the occasion which was slated for 11am at the King Joseph’s Calvary Temple at Koforidua in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
I can’t wait to see Gina

I got the dress purposely for the wedding to match my neatly fixed nails painted pink, a silver purse and a silver shoe to give a perfect look. I was the Master of Ceremonies (Emcee) for the occasion and even in my pregnant state, I was determined to make the wedding a memorable one for the couple.

At exactly noon, the bride arrived; looking stunning in her beautiful ivory gown interspersed with silver stones. Her makeup was just perfect to match her chocolate complexion and white set of teeth. She stepped out of a black and white limousine with her bridesmaids and I couldn’t help but admire her dangling silver earing which matched her shoe.
Here comes the bride
tune played at the background to usher her into the auditorium where Alvin waited patiently for his bride. The Reverend Minister helped the two exchange their vows and it was glorious. As the MC for the day, I sat on the third row in front as I could be called any moment to facilitate the photo session. While sitting there and listening to the couple exchange vows,
