    Isighed pressed up against the wall of an alley trying to catch my breath .   What the hell was that? I didn’t even think to look back at what was barreling down the street after me just a moment ago. My fight or flight instinct had kicked in before I even knew that I was racing down the empty street. I heard grunting behind me and I started racing down the empty streets again, ducking into a nearby alley. I had finally managed to lose it after jumping over the chain linked fence at the end of the alley and ducking into another street.  I stopped to catch my breath for a moment and decided it was best to move along before it picked up my scent again. I started down the road that was bathed in the red light of the full moon.

    Well look who it is, so nice of you to drop by. My brother scolded me with his arms firmly crossed over his chest. I hadn’t even bolted the lock on the door when he came up behind me.

    Oh shut it Marco.  I mumbled and flopped down on the couch with a thud. " I forgot Betsy at the Range, so
