Bruce Franklin was working at the CAD/CAM station in his office on the GEO-18 space station when the call came through. He was in the midst of defining the operational parameters for a proposed space launcher to be built on the moon. He pressed the save
button on the screen and then brought up the communications channel.
The face now staring back at him from the screen belonged to Harold West. Harold was a colleague of Bruce who was currently working over at the GEO-12 station.
Hey, Harry, what's happening?
Not a whole lot, and that's the problem,
was the somber reply.
That gravimetric research getting you down?
Bruce gently probed.
