    CHAPTER ONE

Finn Fasser was not going to embarrass himself by being late today. He had worked too hard.

Hustle! Finn shouted to his best friend, Botts. Botts was running behind Finn, trying to catch up.

Botts and Taz were two of the biggest students in the school and liked to tease each other. Botts quietly sneaked up behind Taz, grabbed the half-eaten sandwich from his hand, and stuffed it in his mouth.

What’s going on? Taz said. He quickly looked up. Taz didn’t know whether to yell or laugh. Botts’s mouth was so full that his bulging
