About the Author
CHAPTER ONE
Finn Fasser was not going to embarrass himself by being late today. He had worked too hard.
Hustle!
Finn shouted to his best friend, Botts. Botts was running behind Finn, trying to catch up.
Finn dashed through the front doors of Mr. Labanzo’s magic studio and looked up at the clock on the wall in the lobby. Three minutes to go before the start of the magic show. Botts and Taz were two of the biggest students in the school and liked to tease each other. Botts quietly sneaked up behind Taz, grabbed the half-eaten sandwich from his hand, and stuffed it in his mouth.

Taz said. He quickly looked up. Taz didn’t know whether to yell or laugh. Botts’s mouth was so full that his bulging
