We were up in the air at forty thousand feet. I was sitting right next to Dhruv, my friend from college and now my boss. I'd always had a little girl crush on him. I often told my friends he was the most handsome man in the world and they would laugh. They'd laugh harder when I claimed I'd marry him one day. But here I was crushing hard on him, not getting sleep, daydreaming about things that were wrong, so so wrong.

He was absolutely breathtakingly handsome. The man I’d loved forever. He had not realized it yet, but I knew that my soul belonged to him.

He was sound asleep. It was not surprising after all
