About this ebook

Graham Holt, the hottest dude in the world, just moved in next door to my mom.

Seriously. Drool-worthy muscles, panty-melting green eyes, and—wait for it—dimples. I mean, how is that even fair, for one guy to be so sexy?

He's been pestering me for a date since the day we met, but I don't have time to mess around. When I finally do say yes, the joke's on him, because I've decided to employ my best friend's infamous third date rule: no nookie before we've gone out three times.

The question is . . . can I stick to my own principles? Or will Graham convince me that rules were made to be broken?

Natalie, it’s me. Your mother. My garbage disposal is acting up again, and I can’t get down under the sink to see what’s wrong—you know my knees. You’re busy, I know this, but can you maybe stop by sometime today and see if you can fix it?

Groaning, I rolled over in my bed and pulled the pillow over my face. It was late morning—at least, I thought it must be, given the strength of the sun shining through my window and onto my naked body. And it was Saturday, that much I remembered. That’s why I was still in bed.

Trust Ma to ruin a good morning for sleeping in, I grumbled to myself. I loved my mother; really, I did. She was a feisty and strong lady who, together with my father, had raised my brothers and me on little more than love and the salary of a hard-working auto mechanic. I never forgot how hard they’d both worked to keep us fed and clothed.
