In this Book:

In this book, a compilation of six mini-studies about life as members of the kingdom of God is presented. The Christian’s citizenship is in heaven, but life must be lived on the earth. Hence, Christian must know how to conduct themselves as ambassadors of the kingdom God. This collection is designed to encourage believers to walk worthy of Christ.

Conformed to His Image

In this section, we will discuss the predestination of God. When we speak of predestination in this publication, we are referring to what God has intended or purposed for your life. He has predestined men and women to be like Christ. The Christian should know that He will do what is necessary to see you fulfill it. Your greatest joy will come when you fulfill His desire.

Through His Word, we can have some security and comfort in God. Everything that He does has purpose and it is for our good. As we explore the principles of the Kingdom of God, let us remain secure in His love and concern for us. God is not against us. Love caused God to send His Son. Remember, God has a plan for you.

God has a plan and purpose for our lives. We, as believers, must understand that God orchestrates our lives. No circumstance ever comes upon us without God having prior knowledge. He is in control over the situations in our lives, even those that are adverse. We should also realize that God has desires even as we have desires.

To desire means to wish or long for. It also means to want strongly. What is it that God longs for and wants strongly?

For whom he did foreknew, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the first-born among many brethren. (Romans 8:29)

God’s Desire

More than anything else, God wants us to become like His only begotten Son. He desires for us to become sons and daughters. Believers consistently wonder what God would have for them to do. He wants us to become like Jesus. Therefore, he orchestrates the events in our lives that we may become like Him.
