Readers find this title to be superb, enjoyable, and exciting. The storyline is engaging, even if it is a bit far-fetched. The author does a great job of providing enough science to make it plausible and fun to read. The representations in the book are awesome, and the action scenes are vividly depicted. The characters are well-developed and their reactions help draw the reader into the story. Overall, this is one of the best put together stories with just the right amount of unpredictability to keep it interesting. Readers will be eagerly looking forward to the next book from this author.

There's just enough unpredictability to make and keep it interesting, without becoming confusing. I found myself unconsciously holding my breath from time to time while reading, sort of hoping I knew what was going to happen next.

One year had passed since Simba had left his small village – Ida – for the seat of the modern world, the United States of America. He had not believed it at first, until the head of the Non-Governmental Organization, an afro American lady, Ms. Shane, made it happen. Luke had taken him to the state secretariat to run his international passport. Ms. Shane worked with international companies to provide opportunities for young children in villages. When she had touched Ida, Simba had been the best student and the only one who had passed the scholarship exams. She had been pleased and had announced to everyone that he would be schooled in prestigious high school to the university level.
Simba smiled as he gazed outside the window of his new home. One year had passed already, but it still felt like yesterday. He touched a golden bracelet that he always wore on his left hand. His grandmother had given it to him as a symbol of remembrance, just before he left the country.
Always wear this Simba. Whenever you feel lonely, know that your sister and I are there with you. Make us proud, and bring back light and wisdom to Ida.
Her words rang in his ears.
Images of his sister’s crying face and his grandmother’s sad eyes ran through his mind. Many of the villagers had cried and wailed as Simba drove away with Ms. Shane. It would be for their good, because he planned to return to his village once he was finished and bring development to the village.
Simba shook the thoughts of the past away and focused on the view of the Newsdale beach that stood very close to his apartment. When he turned sixteen, Ms. Shane who was his guardian in America had permitted him to leave alone, because the other house had been too far away from his school. Though Simba spent most weekdays in his house, he went to his guardian’s house every weekend.
