Introduction

My assignment in life is to set in order the things that are out of order, (Titus 1:5) fill the earth with the knowledge of the glory of God as the waters cover the sea, (Habakkuk 2:14) Eradicate ignorance, (John 8:32; Isaiah 60:1) eliminate poverty, (John 10:10; 3 John 2) and raise generational leaders in every city to impact nations (Isaiah 55:4-5).

POVERTY GIVES YOU NO OPTIONS BUT PROSPERITY DOES

If we are going to change the world, we need to have resources; we need to have options. One definition of poverty which instructs me is that ‘poverty is the absence or lack of options.’ We cannot make waves and make major moves if we do not have options. Prosperity, abundance, increase, wealth in material and financial terms provides a major avenue for option-creation. These teachings in this book are dedicated to the realization, maximization and actualization of the abundance that exists within our internal and external universes.

‘He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?’

THERE IS NO SHORTAGE ANYWHERE; THE SHORTAGE IS BETWEEN OUR EARS. We live in an abundant and benevolent universe. Abundance is our heritage. Prosperity is our destiny. It is our right to be able to answer the questions that money can answer and the covenant of work, tithing and offerings is what it takes to actualize your prosperity heritage. There is a positioning that delivers your portion; there is nothing mystical or magical or diabolical about prosperity; prosperity answers to practical covenant principles.

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,

But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Contrary to what some believe, the truth is: Not all winners sweat to win; sweating is a curse.

World-shakers carry a unique lifestyle of SWEATLESSNESS AND BEING STRUGGLE-FREE IN ATTAINING HIGHER HEIGHTS by maintaining an unusual schedule.

You belong to the most prosperous family on earth. Redemption forbids you from being a beggar; it exempts you from being a beggar. A needy mentality will keep you in poverty; you can’t think poverty and taste prosperity. You won’t stop thinking poverty until you’ve caught the light from God’s word. (Isaiah 60:1). This is the only cure for the thoughts of poverty. It is poverty mentality that makes poor. The cheapest way to be anointed for poverty is to think poor. Lack is not synonymous with black. You are not in need because you are black; you are in need because you are blind. What you can’t see, you can’t touch. You must come to a place where you say with conviction ‘I can never be poor.’ It comes by what you know and practice. (John 8:32)

Prosperity is not a promise so you can’t claim it. Prosperity is a covenant leaving you with a huge responsibility to engage in covenant practice to actualize that covenant. (Deuteronomy 8:17-18; Genesis 12:1-3; 13:1-3; Genesis 8:20-22)

The rich rule over the poor and the borrower is a slave or servant to the lender.

Why are the rich getting richer and the poor staying poor or getting poorer?

NOTE: Let me start by emphasising that in this book, when I refer to or talk about the poor or say what separates the rich from the poor, I am not describing, referring to or talking about those who were born into poor homes or were raised that way because of their backgrounds or environments or nation and so could do nothing about it but particularly those who choose to stay poor after relevant information has been made available to them about prosperity, success, wealth creation and financial freedom.
