About this ebook

Anxiety feels like living life 'on guard'. Learn how to let your guard down and gain more fulfilment from your life without being held back by anxiety.

The simplest way to overcome anxiety, if you want the cure-all is really just to get out of your comfort zone over and over and over again, because when we get out of that comfort zone, it literally becomes impossible to stay anxious. The irony, the conundrum here is that when we're feeling anxious, getting out of a comfort zone is actually a lot more difficult than what it ordinarily would be and it ordinarily is difficult.

The problem is with acute and chronic anxiety, just the littlest tiny things sometimes can trigger yourself. These little relatively insignificant things that would ordinarily have little or no impact on us can hit us a lot harder when we're feeling anxious. As a result, that process of getting out of that comfort zone is just much more complicated and much more challenging than it ordinarily would be.

It's a bit like trying to do exercise or do something physical when you're severely sunburned. When you're severely sunburned, even the process of trying to go to sleep at night can be excruciatingly painful because every toss and turn, as you're rolling over in your sleep, you feel the sheets rubbing across your skin and it's painful. Whereas ordinarily, you wouldn't notice that at all.

Now, that red raw, sort of extra sensitivity and emotional pain could probably quite simply be healed purely for the power of connecting with people. If you've got good friendships, good relationships, if you've got people around you that you can feel a strong sense of connectedness to, well that alone would probably offer a fairly simple solution to help you recover through your anxieties.

The problem is, again, is that irony. There's that conundrum, the catch-22, which is that with chronic and acute anxiety, the process of feeling connected to people becomes inhibited. In other words, it's a lot more difficult to feel connected to people when you're anxious.

There's a couple of reasons for that by the way and I will be sharing a whole bunch of them with you in this new eBook. Whether you are suffering from some major 'acute' anxiety right now, or you have suffered from anxiety attacks and chronic anxiety for some time the cure is the same, it just takes a little more practice getting out of your comfort zone when you have been doing stress and anxiety for such a long time. Nevertheless don't stress because this book contains all the tips, tricks and mind hacks you are going to need to begin you anxiety free life!

Shane Cuthbert

Shane Cuthbert (1990) was born in the Hawkesbury region of Sydney, Australia. Shane grew up in western Sydney. Shane was only 15 years old, when he was kicked out of home and high school. As a teenager Shane struggled with feelings of worthlessness, not being good enough, depression , anxiety and addiction. Shane eventually overcame all this and began touring as a professional drummer. Shane's once simple status was elevated, due to the success and notoriety he received as a touring artist. As the years passed and opportunity and chances of success subsided, Shane had hit what he refers to as "cognitive rock bottom". Feeling that all his prior success was but behind him and he would again fail to achieve or amount to anything, he had his first real opportunity to reinvent himself and change his life. Shane started a small landscaping business that grew into a large trade & services company. This company established multiple businesses and franchising opportunities soon followed. In 2014, Shane started and developed his own State Of Glory brand of clothing, and entertainment website also of the same name. In 2015 Shane Cuthbert married Australian swimsuit model and public figure Berenger Rose. Despite much controversy and allegations by Rose of Cuthbert's alleged domestic violence, the pair are still supportive of one another and are actively promoting and growing their businesses together. In 2017 Shane graduated Justice and contract law at Harvard University, enrolled in the study of Psychology at the University of Queensland, developed his first online coaching course, began offering mentorship services and wrote the first book, in his self help series. THE FIRST STEP TO BEATING STRESS

Many people experience ongoing chronic anxiety that can make life very difficult to cope with. As ill explain in more detail below, one of the things that contributes to stress is our inclination to be harsh on ourselves when we are not coping too well with the challenges life throws at us. Unfortunately, many people bottle it up, try to hide it and all too often fear seeking help. For that reason, its incredibly important that you give yourself a pat on the back for taking the time to seek out a solution to help you cope better with your stress.

I remember what it was like for me back when I was in your position. I decided that the damage my stress was causing my life was too much to ignore anymore, and realised that I needed to reach out for help. It can be a bit of a scary process at first, so its incredibly important that you recognise the value in what you are doing here right now and congratulate yourself for having the courage to look for a therapist to help you take control of your life. If the idea of seeking help makes you feel a little vulnerable at first, that’s a good thing, as your ability to give yourself permission to feel that way and push through the initial discomfort will be well worth the time and effort.

I think that one of the biggest contributing factors to chronic stress is not having a good understanding of why we get stressed in the first place. Understanding why our mind ‘does anxiety’ to us is not in itself the solution mind you. But gaining a deeper understanding about how it works and why it makes us so stressed, is going to help make things a lot clearer and send you in a much better direction.

For that reason, I’ve put together the following explanation for you about where anxiety comes from, why we ‘do’ anxiety, and how we can break up the patterns that keep us trapped in the vicious cycle that anxiety often creates. If you find the information in this book useful to shed some light on this hugely important topic, then just remember to share it with others who you think could also benefit from gaining a better understanding about anxiety.

    ACUTE ANXIETY VS CHRONIC ANXIETY

Anxiety can happen acutely. It can manifest itself as frustration, irritability, nervousness or even complete panic. For example, when you get up in front of an audience to give a speech or performance, its fairly
