This book has a total of three stories within its pages. “Shadow’s heart”, “Early morning ruckus”, and “Marriage steal”.

“Shadow’s heart” is a sweet story where a girl’s shadow watches her play and grow up. As he watches her grow into a beautiful woman, he develops feelings for her. Eventually he falls in love with her, wishing he wasn’t trapped by hits shadow form. His emotions heighten when she gets news that changes everything.

“Early morning ruckus” is about a young woman who lives alone in her home. She is awoken One night by loud knocks at her front door. She angrily answers the door but doesn’t see anyone in sight. knocks sound again from the back door and again no one. After seeing her front door wide open she finds a note one the coffee table, sending chills up her spine. Someone is in her house, and she doesn’t know who or where they are.

“Marriage steal” is a story about a newly-wed couple driving their way to Chicago for their honey-moon. Titus notices hits wife Kate acting strange and begins to worry. He asked her what was wrong and she replied she was worried about something in the trunk, but it should be fine. Titus sees the worry remaining on her face and goes to the trunk to alleviate her stress. What Titus did not expect was to find a painting from a museum the was reported missing not too long ago.
