"Wrong Door" is the opening story of the collection. Two best friends, Nicole and Candice, enjoy a night out at a local bar. Things go left when Candice opens the wrong door while searching for the restroom. As heart racing drama unfolds, the women search for an immediate escape from large men, known around the city as the Price boys, who seems to very adamant about protecting what Candice had seen.

In "Lustful Evening", Angelica, adventures out to a new nightclub she's been hearing about through some friends. Eager to unwind and enjoy a few glasses of wine, she goes inside and settles at the bar. While gyrating to the music, she is approached by a handsome guy whom she had more in common with than she thought.

The third short story, "Unsuspected Visitor", is a sci-fi drama that revolves around Celeste who walks in on an unbelievable surprise one evening. Although she was told by military officials that her husband, John, was killed in battle, he had been at their home awaiting her arrival. As John explains what happened to him, Celeste realizes how life for them will never be the same. He had brought back terrifying news that would affect millions of lives.

"Bad Timing", the final story, follows a young couple, Chris and Tierra, running from authorities after a local pimp is killed. Things take an interesting turn as the situation unfolds in an outdated motel room.

A group of partygoers crowd the dimly lit Nightclub. The music echoes over the dance floor. More women than men fill the bar as loud chatter resonate throughout the building. The bartender, Darryl, wipes the counter as he slowly scans the room.

Two more, please, Nicole says to Darryl.

Girl, how many more of those shots are you going to order? asks Candice.

These are my last two. I promise, Nicole says, chuckling.
