About this ebook

This is A Biker Secret Baby Romance

Lukas has always been the quiet kid in school, but he’s never resented himself for it. Girls were complicated and overwhelming, so he just never dated. Parties took away from other, more useful things he could be doing with his time- like striving to become a lawyer. His parents didn’t understand, and his sister- his only true friend- had passed away to leave behind a niece that Lukas adopted. Working his own law office and juggling a 15-year-old is much harder than anyone could’ve led on.

Lukas’ solace in his motorcycle is about to bring him in direct contact with one woman who might compliment him perfectly.

Ashley is a woman with scars- physically and mentally. Having finally worked up the courage to get a moped and work her way up to a motorcycle, she finds herself at a shop at the very right moment. Her intense fear of cars and general ‘stay-in-your-lane’ attitude brings out Lukas inner tenderness, and they immediately feel an unfamiliar attraction to each other.

A lingering problem threatens Lukas and Ashley’s budding romance, and things outside their happy scene begin to work in motion to tear them apart at the seams. But will it end up bringing these two passive people even closer together?

    Chapter One: Lukas

Staring openly as Abby sat hunched over the bar with a pencil and paper, I lifted my beer mug to my lips to hide my frown. The bar was busy tonight, and the noise scraped against my ear drums and pounded against my eye sockets. She’d been scribbling furiously for a while now, and I wondered how she could function with all the bustle around us.

Are you dazzled by my beauty, or are you staring into space and I just happen to be in your line of sight? Without looking up, Abby spoke over the droning of the mildly intoxicated crowd, and I stiffened as she put her pencil down. Glancing over at me with a slight smile, she arched her back to display her moderate baby bump, and I pursed my lips tightly as a lump formed in my throat.

I was just staring. I apologize. My reply only widened Abby’s smile, and she shook her head before turning to the paper she was working on. The design was sleek, catchy, and I leaned on my bar stool to get a better look. That’s the patch you’re making?

Yeah. I originally wanted to do something similar to the one they already have, but this is what happened instead. What do you think? Cocking my head as I stared at the paper through narrowed eyes, I propped my elbow on the bar to hold my cheek in my fist. The play on I-8 was obvious considering it cut right past the city, and I hummed softly to myself.

I like it. Have you shown Dennis and Craig yet? Actually, I haven’t seen either of them all evening… Glancing around the semi-crowded bar, I frowned even as relief surged through my veins. Craig and Dennis weren’t around, but neither was Erica, and I hadn’t even properly met Jay, yet.

He seemed like an asshole, by all accounts- drowning himself in pity and alcohol. I couldn’t understand it considering how well put together Jared was.

No- they’re working on their bikes at Craig’s shop. I get really panicky on his bike now, so I decided not to go and came here instead. Nibbling her bottom lip furiously, Abby carefully folded the paper in her hands to smooth the edges with her well-manicured nails. Can I tell you something, Lukas? And you can’t tell Dennis…

I won’t tell if it’s not dangerous… Caution thickened my tone, and Abby shook her blonde-capped head viciously. Pursing my lips together, I leaned in as she beckoned me with a finger, and she looked around with apprehension swirling in her eyes.

Dennis doesn’t want to know what the baby’s sex is, but I did. It’s a girl. I just don’t want people to get things for a boy, and then I have to return it, and I’ll feel bad. So, I was hoping that you’d be able to tell Craig and Ryan and everyone, and I’ll tell my friends and my parents and stuff. Surprise struck my chest, and I smiled under raised brows while Abby physically perked up. So, you’ll help me out?

Yeah, sure. I’ll tell them. Have you and Dennis thought of a name yet? It amazed me that Abby and Dennis hadn’t gone crazy with each other yet; she was pretty difficult to deal with, supposedly, and they didn’t know each other well. Watching her nod again, my gaze flickered down to her growing belly, and I sucked in a deep, stabilizing breath.

Ethan, for a boy- it was Dennis’ father’s name. And Ophelia for a girl. Not for any reason- I just like it a lot. Hamlet is my favorite play.

It’s pretty- yeah. Clearly, my agreement was exactly what Abby wanted to hear, and she bopped her head happily as
