Foreword
Anyone who has ever picked up the Bible in an attempt to read with understanding knows firsthand the challenge of this endeavor. This simple and practical book is the perfect tool for the person, student, or church who desires to hear God’s voice and experience his power through Scripture. In her book, Kim-Christine provides straightforward Bible reading approaches that will teach Christians how to read and engage the Bible for themselves.
The K-I-N-G-S-! Method is a step-by-step approach that teaches readers how to understand the author’s intended meaning while emphasizing the importance of applying that message with the guidance of the Holy Spirit. This is a reliable approach for understanding the meaning of a passage and a powerful way to know God through his Word.
Also, to experience a meaningful devotional time, it’s helpful to communicate with God through the Bible, allowing the Holy Spirit to reveal areas that need to be surrendered to him. I believe Kim-Christine’s devotional approach accomplishes this crucial spiritual discipline.
Additionally, to grow spiritually, it’s essential to spend time in God’s presence consistently. In her book, Kim-Christine includes a program to help you or your church develop devotional habits through genuine fellowship.
This hands-on guide will better equip Christians and the church to understand passages, connect with God through Scripture, and become consistent in their daily walk with him. As a result, these spiritual disciplines will help individuals fulfill their God-given purpose. I welcome those who love to read the sacred text to employ Kim-Christine’s Bible Study methods in your pursuit of understanding and applying God’s Word to your lived experience.

Introduction
This book was written for you —the person, pastor, or the hands-on ministry student who desires to know God’s truth and experience his presence through Scripture. That’s why, in a simple and personal way, I provide three practical and specific ways to read the Bible that will help you do just that. The three methods are: 1) The K-I-N-G-S-! Method 2) the P-R-A-Y Devotional Bible Reading Method, and 3) the 4-P Bible Study Method.
The first approach, The K-I-N-G-S-! Method, is a step-by-step Bible study approach that focuses on understanding the meaning of a passage. Let’s face it, there’s a lot of confusion out there when it comes to understanding Scripture. But thankfully there are concrete guidelines for knowing the true meaning of a passage (a discipline called hermeneutics). Sadly, most people don’t know these rules because they find it boring, or even hard, to learn.
That’s why I have taken out the scholastic jargon and put the guidelines into simple steps using the acronym K-I-N-G-S-! Rest assured, friend, the concepts themselves are easy—and liberating—to learn. This book will show you
