My perspective on the recent events that have taken place in several African American communities and the reactions of the powers that be. As I see it, the racism is extremely obvious and the killing of Black men has run a muck. If African Americans don't wake up and demand an immediate end to the extermination of young Black men, they will become extinct, which is just fine with some people.

This book is inspired by my views on America and the raciest, uncaring thoughts of the people in charge. My views reflect life in America as I see it. I believe that this nation has not only lowered its standards, but is a morally corrupt country; and doesn’t even know it. I’m fully aware that some people will see my views as controversial to say the least. They may even find them downright insulting. However, I humbly insure you that is not my intent. My intent is to not only have my African American brothers and sisters’ wake up and re-evaluate their priorities, but to have all people realize where this country is heading and the roles they are playing.

Let me first start out by saying that I truly love this country. This is not about country bashing. I believe that America is the greatest country in the world and there is no place else I would rather live. I’m an African American male who has earned the right to live here and express my views. I’m a law abiding citizen who has never been arrested, and I have served in the military. It’s a shame that a lot of White people can’t accept that.

I once had a friend who was not a citizen of this country; however, he served in the United States Army. My friend decided that he did not want to become a United States citizen and as far as I’m concerned, he has the exact same rights and privileges as I do. He may not be a citizen, but he served this country and was willing to give his life for it. There are a lot of people (Black and White) who have lived in this country their whole life and have never done anything to serve this nation; yet they are the ones who have a plethora of negative things to say

about people of color, and they demonstrate the most hate. President Kennedy once said Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country.

However out of all the years I’ve lived in this country, I must say that most of the hate and racism I’ve experienced has come from older White people. The sad part is that they are fully aware that they are hateful and racist, but they don’t care because they know that there is absolutely nothing anyone can do. They are old, rich and racist. Their grip on power is fading and they are desperately trying to set up the next generation of hateful White people. The problem is that a lot of their sons and daughters are not in agreement with their views. The situation is so desperate to them that two brothers (The Koch Brothers) are willing to spend one billion dollars of their money to insure that they will influence who the next president will be. They also want to make sure that this country will never see another Black president again; however, they will never admit that.

The first thing I’ve noticed is that the people in charge want you to believe that they are fair minded Catholics or Christians who deeply believe in God and the Bible. Yet they seem to be doing everything they can to remove God from the public arena (i.e., prayer out of schools and the Ten Commandments from the court room). Most of them believe that worshiping God should only be conducted on Sundays; yet they couldn’t quote John 3:16 if their life depended on it. Somehow they believe that God doesn’t see what goes on Monday through Saturday. They also believe that their righteousness is based on how much good they do in this world.

Here’s what God has to say about that in Isaiah 64:6: But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousness’s are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind have taken us away.

After observing so many recent hatful and racist events, I feel that this is the perfect non- violent way to express my anger. So as you read my views on several recent events that have taken place in this country, don’t hate the writer; hate the sins of the racist people who are responsible, and maybe you can come up with an answer on why so much injustice is taking place in this country. Hopefully this country can one day get back to being one nation under God.

The reason I feel the way I do about this country is because a study of American history reveals that our forefathers founded this country on the principles of the Bible. The Puritans were the first settlers in this country and the founders of New England. They hoped to establish a spiritual society in strict accordance with biblical principles. The Puritans did not see a need for separating the church and state because it was their desire to establish a society based expressly on the Bible which advocates One standard and addresses every area in society (i.e., social, ethical, political, business, government, education, judicial, etc). God was the supreme ruler and delegated human authorities under Him and His law. As time goes on, it is obvious to me that America is far from where God intended for us to be.

Take, for instance, the event that took place in Ferguson. The killing of a young Black man (Michael Brown) exposed the corruption and racism that exist not only in that area, but all around this country. The killing was so horrific that it was difficult to find someone without an opinion; Black or White.

After listening to most of these opinions, I’ve noticed one thing. We don’t always respect each other’s opinion or agree to disagree. Some African Americans think that if your opinion doesn’t line up with theirs, or if you don’t think the way they do, then you are an Uncle Tom or a sellout. We need to learn how to disagree without being called names. Believe it or not, ten people could look at an event and express it ten different ways. We see things differently, say things differently, and do things differently. Some White and Black people believe that if you don’t agree with them on same sex- marriage, then you’re a homophobe. There are members of the Republican Party who believe that if you don’t agree with everything they stand
