About this ebook
Dan Brock
Dan Brock grew up in Kent, Washington loving science fiction and fantasy stories. He loved watching movies and TV shows with space ships and laser gun battles. He started in elementary school by writing a story called The Freeze Ray which the school published for the library. Unfortunately, the book was lost and the story only remains in Dan’s mind. Over the next several years, he’s written various other stories. Somewhere in there, he began writing poetry and scripts for stage productions, many of which have been performed by a professional theater group. At one point, he had a book published of ghost stories and tales of paranormal encounters that he wrote with some input from his brother that he’s currently working on redoing. In addition to writing he is also an accomplished musician, stage actor and artist. He runs an art production company, a Christian record label and now a publishing house. Dan currently resides in Auburn, Washington with his wife.

Salverk tried to help his friend by shooting arrow after arrow at Natas, but each was blocked by Natas’ sword. Noreda threw a dagger at Natas’ back, but the snake was able to hear it coming and turned and knocked the dagger out of the air with his sword. Molhivent knew he didn’t have enough elixir in him to be of much good, but nonetheless he shot energy bolts from his fingers that had no effect on Natas.
Soon all the soldiers got the upper hand on Salverk, Noreda and Molhivent and held them in shackles while Zonar continued in his struggle against Natas. Suddenly it looked as if Zonar had it won. He got a blow in on Natas’ arm the same way he did with Drayzack. When he raised his sword above his head to thrust into Natas’ vulnerable belly however, Natas swung his sword and cut Zonar’s body in two pieces.
Salverk, Noreda and Molhivent all gasped in horror at the death of their friend. The soldier’s of Natas’ army however all cheered at the victory of their king.

Zonar’s body was left there among all the fallen soldiers of the battle. Salverk, Noreda and Molhivent were led away back to the city of Amon by five soldiers and Natas to be held in the prison on Serpent Mountain. Drayzack led the rest of the army to invade Serena.

Welcome to the long awaited sequel to Zonar – The Prophecy. Many inquired how the story in the Prophecy could possibly be the first part of the adventure that made Zonar famous. The ending seemed to make it impossible. All I was able to say was to remember that it’s the first book in a series.
This is the story where the prophecy placed upon Zonar begins to take shape, leading up to its fulfillment. I would like to thank you for taking the time to read the book. I hope you enjoy it and that you’ll return to the land of Atillia in later installments.

All looked dark for the land of Atillia. Zonar was dead and his friends were being held prisoner. The soldiers in the evil army of Natas felt victory for their serpent master with the fall of the young barbarian. A familiar red glow suddenly filled the air around Zonar’s broken body.
Rise, Zonar of Etavir!
The hooded figure standing at Zonar’s feet demanded.
A warm breeze blew through the trees as the two halves of the barbarian merged back together and Zonar’s eyes opened. As his vision slowly focused, he saw the hooded figure.
You?
He asked, I remember you from my cell in Master Y’rag’s palace.
Yes, I was there. I told you that you are to defeat Natas.
Well, as you can see, I failed.
No, you did not. All that has happened has happened according to the prophecy. For you to kill Natas, you first had to be killed by Natas.
Zonar had no idea what the hooded figure was telling him. The only thing he knew for certain is that he was confused.
So then, who are you?
He wanted to know.
My name is Krayle. I come from the Isle of the Gods. When you were an infant, I placed a mark on your hand which will bring grave misfortune to any who might kill you.
Zonar looked at the snake image on his right palm and clenched his fist. It was all beginning to make sense now. A flash of anger appeared in his eyes as he gazed up at Krayle.
What about my friends?
