About this ebook
But this isn’t just any alien race… It is one which passes for human, Homo differentia!
Homo differentia defends against human invasion, leaving humans extinct.
They become the dominant species, turning our world into their colony.
Homo differentia has grey skin and black eyes, what you’d expect of an alien…
However, these are not aliens we’re talking about.
Homo differentia possesses godlike power and godlike wisdom, what we could never achieve.
They come in peace, and do not conquer or enslave other races… But we do.
We will never know what could have been, but we will know the world of Homo differentia.
He is one of them, and he is who we follow throughout this story.
He is created in a laboratory, one of exactly 1,000… But he is one of a kind.
The powers locked within must be unleashed, in order to mimic the alpha…
Can it be done?

1. Dominant Species: The Human Extinction
A world without humans sounds dystopian,
but what if it were utopian instead?
I ask you myself
If you’re reading this, Earth is no longer ours…
I wish I was kidding, but I’m not one to kid
In the near future we discover an alien race dwelling here, undetected until we detected them
They come in peace,
contrary to alien-invasion movies…
The same can’t be said for humans
A human invasion of an alien race
is still an alien invasion,
for humans are the aliens here
The alien race defends itself against invasion, leaving humans extinct in the process… Oh, dear
In short order humans are extinct,
and in short order the alien race
becomes the dominant species
No sooner do they become dominant species
they clean up the mess humans made them make
…You think I’m kidding when I say that? Hah! These aliens come in peace, but we don’t
They defended themselves
against human invasion,
a proper reason to fight a common enemy
It should be noted these aliens can pass as human, the resemblance is uncanny… But not quite
Though they mimic humans in shape and sapience, they’re different compared to them as well
The differences trademark to them define identity, though they’re more like us than you’d think
These aliens can pass as human,
the resemblance is uncanny…
But they’re different than us
This is evidenced by binomial nomenclature, sounds familiar yet foreign… Homo differentia!
Nomenclature suggests they’re related to humans, but in what way is confined to conjecture
They could be a human subspecies,
an alien-human hybrid,
or maybe a different breed of human
How they’re related to humans
is confined to conjecture, as I’ve stated…
What do you think?
Regardless of what you or I think,
don’t forget to fathom the facts…
Wordplay at its finest
Ignorance is never bliss,
contrary to cliché conveying ignorance is bliss… Know what I mean?
As I’ve stated,
Homo differentia resembles humans uncannily… But they’re different than us
What tells them apart is grey skin and black eyes, trademark to identity… May I explain them?
Grey skin is tactilely identical to human skin,
not that you’d touch it… But at least you know
Grey skin is also a symbol of how proficient
Homo differentia is in their powers, what are they?
Now isn’t the time to talk about that,
because now I’m speaking about
grey skin and black eyes
What I can say, dark-grey skin is a status symbol among Homo differentia… A sign of reverence
But I should also mention
reverence is something earned and not given, Homo differentia knows
Black eyes lack discernible iris or pupil,
and they do not blink…
Like a void, they always stare
They’re protected by a membrane
thick enough to touch, one over each eye…
I advise against it
Touching these membranes is a sign of disrespect, possibly a sign of provocation… I warn you
Homo differentia can and will defend themselves against provokers, though they come in peace
…Does it sound paradoxical they adhere to pacificism yet defend against provokers? Maybe
They do not defend themselves
without proper reason,
if they or their species are threatened
They do
