Window to the Soul - Aaron McKillip
Window to the soul
A journey through my poetry
World
The world is such a violent place.
The world see’s bombs going off in the Middle East.
The world see’s death.
The world doesn’t care.
Why??
The streets of America
On the streets of a small American town, a woman walks home alone in the moonlight.
On the streets in a big city a woman is raped.
In a city by the bay a woman weeps of the death of her husband
Three different women…one cruel world.
Joy and Sorrow
A ship pulls into port.
A ship leaves port.
A loved one stands on the pier waiting for the return of the one who left so long ago.
…A tragic ending to the loved one that stands and wave the ship off…
When the ship comes back
