What would you rather own?
A stock that pays a 2% dividend or one that pays 8%?
It would be easy to pick the 8% one, and that is exactly what many investors do. It isn’t a trick question. The answer is, it depends. Both may be perfectly fine, but we need more information. The goal of this book is to create a process that is able to quickly identify the cream of the crop stocks, and eliminate the ones we DON’T want to own.
But first, what are dividend paying stocks and why should they be part of an investment portfolio?
