Prologue
Tokyo Bay blazed orange as the sun began its graceful decent across the skyline of Yokohama, signalling the end of the work day for much of the population. The city’s multi-altitude skyways were packed with rush hour vortex traffic while at street level hundreds of students whizzed by on their zephyrs. The gloomy shadow cast by the road’s multiple apartments combined with the blackening sky bathed her in darkness as she climbed the small set of stairs to her building. The complex itself was relatively similar in design to the rest of those on the street; nothing
