About this ebook

Unfortunately, most believers today accept Jesus as saviour but not as Lord. They wish to use Him to achieve their own desires. But Jesus precisely instructed His disciples to make disciples and not converts.
In this first book (of a series) Dr. Olowosoyo explains what it means and what it costs to be a disciple, among several other things.
It is a good material for every believer.

And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.

And they straightway left their nets, and followed him.

And going on from thence, he saw other two brethren, James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, in a ship with Zebedee their father, mending their nets; and he called them.

And they immediately left the ship and their father, and followed him.

    Matthew 4:18-22

Although throughout Jesus' ministry he had the crowd /multitude following him, yet his focus was upon a small group of people he hand-picked, his disciples. He spent his time with them. He taught them, train them and commissioned them to do what he did and then to replicate him by raising disciples for him all over the world.

The scripture above told us how some of them were called from their vocations and ambition. But they did not become disciples until they willingly accept to follow Him.

However, it would be necessary for us to observe that it was not any or every one that he accommodated into discipleship.

And when Jesus saw great multitudes about Him, He gave a command to depart to the other side.

Then a certain scribe came and said to Him, Teacher, I will follow You wherever You go.

And Jesus said to him, "Foxes have holes and birds of the air have
