Why a magic key?

This idea grew out of an offhand remark I made at work. I have a key that will open up the building’s classroom doors and, if necessary, the office of a colleague who has forgotten his or her own keys. In loaning out my key, I made the remark that It’s good to have a magic key. This got me to thinking: Each one of us does have a magic key, inside of us. With some of us, the magic key has a distinct patina from being used regularly; with others, the magic key is tarnished from disuse.

Fortunately, it is never too late to care for this magic key, so that it can take care of you.
