I stood at the shore, looking at the water, feeling the breeze caress my face. Emma stood beside me, too. Behind us, were people talking and laughing, enjoying the evening with their loved ones. We were here to have a pleasant time, too.

The wood planks were in their place, ready to be lit for the bonfire. A little away from it was the tent house that served us drinks and deserts. It was dark already, and the lighting made everything look magical. The palace was right at the edge of the beach. It looked magnificent. The lighting not only made it easier for it to be seen in the middle of the night, but it also made it look otherworldly in the dark.

I am liking the setting here. It’s just great. Emma said.

Yes, absolutely. I love it. I love the music the band is playing, plus this breeze is so soothing. I said.

We heard the clouds rumble loudly all of a sudden. She held my hand at once. We had been hearing the clouds rumble for quite some time now, but it was really loud this time. I liked when it rained, in fact, I loved it. But it really would ruin the evening if it rained today. I was in a state of dilemma, whether to like it or not.

And then, it began pouring. It was only a little and slow in the beginning, but it was growing intense. The people had begun walking towards the palace, and the wood was now kept in the tent covered with leather sheets.

Emma too began walking towards the palace, but stopped to ask me, Come on, aren't you coming?

I looked at her and moved my legs a little, but then, I stopped. I think I’m staying here.

Staying here? Why? You’re going to be wet. Come on, let’s be inside, she said.

I told her I will be there soon and asked her to leave. I almost always grabbed any chance I got to feel the rain. I was liking the little prickly beads of water hitting my face.

I walked towards the rocks and found myself a comfortable place to rest my butt. My hair was wet. I was worried about the occasion and my appearance, but rain mattered more.

I sat there drowning myself in the rain, feeling the drops trickling down the valley of my breasts. I just sat there smiling, remembering my childhood memories of playing in the rain, and also the memories of my first sexual encounter, which also took place in the rain.
