God Will Refresh You

Are you in a deserted place?

Where hope has been replaced with doubt and fear?

Have you been forsaken?

By those whom you thought cared?

Because no one understands the pain you bare?

Well, take up your weapons of prayer and praise

Shake thyself, begin your voice to raise

To Him with a heart of thanksgiving

And watch Him make a way in your deserted place

The scars from the wounds may never go away

It is a reminder of how to pray

Praise God during this season

And He will make a way as clear within reason

God will refresh you in your desert place

His angel will direct you in the race

He will take those things that seem so painful,

And make them meaningful

He will take you to the source from which you can draw

The strength that you so long for

To the streams of refreshing

Where you can drink and never thirst again
