    My Dearest Reader,

    Thank you so much for choosing to read my book! I am eternally grateful for you. I only hope that I can provide you with such entertainment that will give you an enjoyable read in a short sitting.

    This story is a special one to me! I enjoyed writing this one very much, and imagining the ramifications of the consequences of the events as described in the story.

    This novelette features the combined short stories from my compilational work: The Line Between Black and White I and II. In addition to this, I included an additional body of work I had originally written for the story, but originally left it out, as the story was getting too long to be comfortably classified as a short story.

    Another reason I also decided against including the extra part, was due to the sheer existential makeup of the plot driven events of the tale itself. I originally planned for the story to be more darker than it turned out, but after receiving a few complaints that the story was thus too dark, I initially deemed to remove some parts.
