7 POWERS MAN - jermaine J james
Chapter One
The Power of Desire
Jacob willingly did what he didn’t want to do so that he could have what he truly desired. He was madly in love with Rachel, burning with desire for her love but she came at a high price. For fourteen long years he had to serve her father, looking after his livestock. To make matters worse, he also had to marry her older unattractive sister before he could have her. None of this however discouraged Jacob; he was so in love with Rachel, he was willing to do anything. His desire was a fire burning in him that only Rachel could tame. It gave him the energy he needed to perform, endure and eventually fulfill his need.

He longed to see a world void of sin, evil, pain, misery and sorrow. He knew the horror that was scheduled for humanity and he burned with passion for our salvation. Because of his passion, He was despised, rejected, wrongfully accused, imprisoned, beaten almost to death, nailed to pieces of wood and left to die. He knew that these things would happen to him but that did not hinder him. He also had the power to defend himself but chose not to retaliate because that would negate his mission. His desire to defend humanity from the power of evil and the wrath of God gave him strength to persevere in the face of opposition. He knew just what he wanted and not even death could stop him. Because of his desire and sacrifice, whoever calls on his name today, will enter into His kingdom where there is no sorrow or
