    HEALTH IS OFTEN LISTED as a concern for older people. If you're young, it's almost as if none of the information is relevant. It's a problem for the future you, not really the present you. As a result, most of us spend years creating habits and behaviors that are slowly building a difficult life for the future us. We make an unhealthy and ill version of ourselves because we're not willing to change our comfort habits.

    Worrying about health when you aren't sick might seem like a difficult task, but treating illness is a much more challenging goal. Have you heard that prevention is always the best medicine? Your current habits will shape how your life will look like in the next five or ten years, so if someone says that health is a concern for the older, I say that health is a concern for the young, so you don't have to worry about treatment later on in life.

    I know that talking about health is not as exciting for many people, so let me add to the reasons why you should change your habits. Weight loss, better energy levels, increased productivity, reduced mood swings, less anxiety and depression, and improved cognitive abilities are only a few examples of the benefits associated with living a healthier lifestyle.
