Chapter One

Once upon a time there was a dog named Sparky. One day Sparky came over to California. On the way there, his owner asked him, Sparky? Are you ready for California?

Woof! he replied! (BTW at this time people can understand dogs.)

Great! said Sparky’s owner. This will be fun!

When they got there Sparky took a look around. There was another dog there! He was very excited. He could make out the word Charlie on his collar.

Soon Sparky could see another dog named Bodhi. Now Sparky was double excited! Now there was a little boy coming up to Charlie and Bodhi. He said Oh! Bodhi! There you are, I was looking for you! Hi Charlie. Oh! and hello to you, new doggy!

He pet Sparky behind the ears and gave him a hug. This would be the best time here in California.
