About this ebook

In this powerfully transparent testimonial, Deborah learns the power and necessity of obedience: there are lives attached to obedience and lives attached to disobedience, and wisdom chooses lives attached to obedience. She also learns that every opposition is an opportunity to go from faith to faith and glory to glory when seen from the lens of the Word, Will, and Way of Yahweh, God Almighty. Join Deborah as she shares some milestones in her life that will hopefully help you see your most difficult circumstances as opportunities to grow, mature, and prosper in the Kingdom of God.

    Dedication

This little book of personal testimonies is birthed out of a life of mess ups, mishaps, joys, pains, love, discoveries, challenges, and the likes of life.

It is dedicated to the King’s Daughters Luncheon Group as a memento to celebrate our second-year anniversary, where the highlight of each luncheon has become the testimonies told by those who have been willing to be transparent in their sharing.

Testify is written in the simplest of forms, and is also dedicated to all the King’s Daughters, from the youngest to the most seasoned.

To each daughter: may you come to know your value and purpose as determined by the supremacy of our Lord Jesus Christ.  For by Him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by Him and for Him. (Colossians 1:16, New International Version)

    Introduction

Approximately two years prior to the writing of this book of testimonials, three sisters in Christ decided to get together for lunch at a local restaurant. One sister had decided to invite another, who also brought her young daughter. As we dined together, we shared with one another the happenings in our lives, discussing how our Lord Jesus continuously proved Himself faithful through the ups, the downs, the joys, and the pains of our lives. His Presence was evident. We were Daddy’s girls, having fun loving on Him and each other.

Unknown to us, an elderly lady was listening in on our conversation. On her way out of the restaurant, she stopped by our table to tell us how much she had enjoyed the conversation. She said that she had really been blessed by listening to us talk about the Lord. I asked her why she hadn’t joined us. It stood out, and it bothered me a little that she had dined alone.

As we finished up and prepared to depart, I suggested that we get together monthly, and each one should invite another, as our sister so thoughtfully had done. While making a reservation for one of our luncheon dates, the restaurant host asked me for a name for our event. I thought to myself, We don’t have a name, we are just Daddy’s girls getting together. King’s Daughters came to me, and I
