God is healing and empowering the minds of others through the uplifting poetry and insightful artwork of Alicea Davis. She has been writing poetry for over 25 years which began in her childhood. She is passionate about creating work that will be a resource of light in our world. Born and raised in Detroit, MI, Alicea launches projects that the whole world can experience. Her first book, The Sky is NOT the Limit: A Book of Empowering Poetry, is a compilation of her thought provoking poetry which inspires its readers to transition from the darkness of fear, into the light of trust in multiple areas of life, so that they can explore their infinite potential within. Her second book, From Hatred to Healing: Eight Racial Reconciliation Poems, is a compilation of poems that takes readers on her journey from the darkness of deep mistrust due to racial unrest to the light of inner acceptance and peace, leading to a heart for racial reconciliation. This collection of work can help to bring more unity to America by warming the hearts of many others on both sides of the racial divide. Davis is also a talented visual artist.
