We give honour to whom it is due. I would like to honour Dr Daniel K. Olukoya, the General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries Worldwide for all he has done and is doing for me. Daddy, your impact in my life can not be quantified. My wife and I love you. I thank God for giving me a place to serve in MFM. It is an honour to partake of your grace, Sir.
I would also like to honour Rev & Rev (Mrs) Olusola Areogun, the General Overseer of Life Oasis International Church (The Dream Centre). Daddy, Mummy, my wife and I are grateful for the words you have sown in our lives over the years that we have followed your ministry. My wife and I appreciate the wisdom that comes to us from you anytime we are privileged to meet with you. We treasure those moments.
I would like to honour Pastor (Mrs) Tinu Olajide as well, Assistant Regional Overseer, Mountain of Fire and Miracle Ministries, Sweden & Finland. Firstly, for your constant spiritual/moral input and guidance in the lives of my wife and I. Secondly, for taking time out to help edit, correct and proofread the manuscripts. DEDICATION
I DEDICATE THIS BOOK TO MY WIFE – MARGARET OLUWASEUN OLUSANMI – WHO HAS BEEN A TREMENDOUS HELPER IN MY LIFE AND MINISTRY. INDEED, A HELPER SO SUITABLE FOR ME!
INTRODUCTION
God is an epitome of success, and this is one thing you can’t remove from him. He wants all his children to follow in the same manner. No child of God should be less than successful, not just because our father – God – is a success, but because of so much more that he has made available for us to be one. The word of God tells us that we are a success and His word also shows us how to be successful.
If therefore, any believer is found to be less than what the Bible calls success, this indicates that something is wrong somewhere. Many things might wrong. It is obvious that individuals are not measuring up to what God planned for them, and are either not taking advantage of what God has provided or they are completely ignorant of it.
It is my understanding that God wants his children to be successful in all that they do. Whatever, as a child of God, you lay your hands on, should succeed and prosper.
There are those who only succeed in one area of their lives and fail in others. There is nothing in this world that is strong enough to stop a child of God from succeeding if you are ready to give it what is takes. Life does not give you what you deserve but what you demand! To be a success in one area and a failure in another is not a good representation of God.
You are a success to the level at which you yield yourself to the directions of the Holy Spirit. I had a situation in our Church and I spoke to a mother in the Lord, and her response was that you can only pastor what people make available to you. God does not force Himself on us, but when we yield and obey him, he blesses the obedient.
Remember, Godly wisdom is positive, result oriented and practical. But wisdom is shown to be right by the lives of those who follow it.
Luke 7:35NLT. In other words, the result you produce will show the world if you are indeed operating with the wisdom of God. Godly wisdom will justify you!
If you are working with divine wisdom, you will have practical steps to follow and practical things to do. Success in life is not mystical, its practical! Nobody succeeds by luck or chance alone.
When Joseph interpreted Pharaoh’s dream, part of the instruction was to save 20% of the food. That is a practical step! Saving is one of the practical thing you can do to succeed in life. "This is the thing which I have spoken unto Pharaoh: What God is about to do he sheweth unto Pharaoh. Behold, there come seven years of great plenty throughout all the land of Egypt: And there shall arise after them seven years of famine; and all the plenty shall be forgotten in the land of Egypt; and the famine shall consume the land; And the plenty shall not be known in the land by reason of that famine following; for it shall be very grievous. And for that the dream was doubled unto Pharaoh twice; it is because the thing is established by God, and God will shortly bring it to pass. Now therefore let Pharaoh look out a man discreet and wise, and set him over the land of Egypt. Let Pharaoh do this, and
