    Introduction

Unless you’re one of my loyal Patreons, you’ve probably never heard of me. I’m one of the last freelance investigative journalists operating in the Land of the Free Press. Lately, I’ve been working for the Kingsport Star Herald. So maybe I’m not so freelance anymore, but the pay is good, my editor isn’t an asshole (most of the time), and frankly, there are fewer and fewer media outlets willing to hire someone more interested in digging up the truth over puking up that day’s official talking points.

Fake news? Propaganda in the U.S. of A. has been legal since 2012 — that’s old news. It’s not my thing anyway. I focus on the stories that aren’t covered, killed by the C-Suite media executives, or just forbidden to air.

Maybe there’s a good reason for that. Most people can’t handle the truth. If the average American really knew what was really going on they might crouch gibbering in a corner clawing their eyes out, or worse. They’re just not prepared to see the world stripped of its superficial glitz and glam. You could say it’s too much Kardashian and not enough Kant.

    But is it
