PREFACE

In 2001, I wrote a book for my family in which I described how my parents, with very meager resources and many obstacles, raised all seven of their children to become productive, college educated professionals. Since that book was about my family, I distributed it only to family members. It was never published.

In 2015, while on an outing with my great niece, Vyasia, she enthusiastically told me that her grandmother, who is my oldest sister, had shared my book with her. Vyasia thought the book was informative and helpful, and suggested that I continue to write.

A few months later, in February, 2016, an esoteric astrologer told me, during a reading of my chart, that I must share my writing to lift others. Ironically, while doing the chart reading, the astrologer did not know that I had ever written anything. She just saw in my chart that I came into this lifetime gifted to write, and led by spirit to help others. I would have blown off this reading if I had not received this very same message in the past from at least five other readers. One’s natal chart does not change; nor does it lie.

Encouraged by the endorsements of my great niece and my current esoteric astrologer, I began to give birth to a new effort entitled Spirit Answers. This book is a primer to understanding spiritual growth. It gives a basic, very simplified explanation of what we are and of our evolution from human beings to spirit beings. The book is written in a question-answer format. I ask Spirit for explanations and Spirit guides me in answering my queries. All lives in physical bodies are guided by Spirit, whether we are aware of it or not. Some people listen, hear, and comply while others ignore the spiritual guidance that they are given. Both reactions lead to growth.
