    Foreword

It is grace that makes the journey of life great. Your accomplishments are grace determined. Without grace, you are bound to be disgraced. The subject of grace is therefore non-negotiable.

    Paul said in

1 Corinthians 15:10 But by the grace of God I am what I am

Grace is in measures (Ephesians 4:7). Grace also differs from person to person. Your area of grace may not be that of the other person. However, grace that is appropriated irrespective of the person and the nature of grace will lead to fulfillment, glory, and honor. Furthermore, grace can be multiplied (2 Peter 2:2)

Grace is available to all from Titus 2:11 but grace is not cheap. You need the knowledge and the right approach to access grace no matter the availability.

This book will open you up to a new dimension of grace that you could ever imagine. Every chapter draws you closer and gives you access to the fountain of grace.

Beloved, the knowledge of grace and the right utilization of it will keep struggling and sweating at a distance. You are a child of grace and learning to live by grace makes life a beautiful world of experience.

Dr. Okosun has packaged what I called the road map to grace in this book. It will put you back on course for a better and greater relationship with God and for a ceaseless flow of God’s grace. Enjoy and experience it in Jesus name

    Preface

The grace of God that brings salvation has appeared unto all men…

Grace appeared to all men, it does not imply that all men accept it, lay hold of it, or had the right to manifest the benefits of it.

If grace then is unmerited favor or undeserved favor as people say, it should then be automatic flow to both unbelievers and believers I think.

Yet to all who receive him, to those who believe in his name, he gave the right to become children of God (John 1 vs. 12)

He gave the right to become also means he gave the GRACE to become, to be saved, to be called, to be successful, etc. if you believe and receive him, you have automatic right to enjoy the grace of God if you believe, you deserved the grace of God favorably. Friend, if you believe, grace is no longer to you an unmerited or undeserved favor, it is now a well-deserved favor you must enjoy in Christ. When grace appears to you, you either deserve the favor by believing or you become undeserved of it by unbelief.

Though grace is shown to the wicked, they do not learn righteousness, even in the land of uprightness they go on doing evil and regard not the majesty of the Lord (Isaiah 26 vs. 10 (NIV))

Even though grace is shown or appear to the wicked, they do not enjoy it or deserve it because of unbelief and so never experience salvation from their troubles.

For instance, if unbelievers enjoy the grace of God, it is then an unmerited and also underserved favor. Because they never paid the price for grace, the price to pay to enjoy the grace of God is believing and you have paid the price when you believed in Him and so then if the price is paid you deserved it. If there is no faith (believing) therefore, there is no empowerment by grace so you do not deserve grace.

For ye are saved by grace through faith….

The grace of God is what we need and well deserved to overcome the evils and frustrations of this world. And if we do not deserve grace God would not have given it to us, we would not have had the right to salvation and the right to become whatever our destiny is.

Because Abram believed God it was counted unto him as righteousness, implying that Abram now deserved and merited the grace of God for answers to his prayers.

Abram believed the Lord, and he credited it to him as righteousness (Gen 15 vs. 6 (NIV))

The grace of God is, therefore, a qualifying force or power ordained by God to qualify us for the blessings of God and what we well deserved in Christ Jesus. Grace helps you to accomplish what you deserved and merited in Christ.

The centurion heard of Jesus and sent some elders of the Jews to him, asking him to come and heal his servant. When they came to Jesus, they pleaded earnestly with him, This man deserves to have you do this, because he loves our nation and has built our synagogue. So Jesus went with them (Luke 7 vs. 3 - 6 (NIV))

The elders said the man deserved to enjoy the grace of God for the salvation of his servant, because the man believed in Jesus Christ, love the nation of Israel and also built a temple.

He was not far from the house when the centurion sent friends to say to him: "Lord, don’t trouble yourself, for I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. That is why I did not even consider myself worthy to come to you. But say the word, and my servant will be healed…..when Jesus heard this, he was amazed at him, and turning to the crowd following him, he said, I tell you, I have not found such great faith even in Israel (Luke 7 vs. 6 – 9 (NIV))

You see, the centurion this time probably under the influence of his friends believed that he never deserved to have Jesus under his roof and so he sent the same friends to tell Jesus that. But recall that the first time he sent the elders, wise men, not his friends. Now Jesus was mainly on his way to heal the servant and not to be under his roof.

He may not deserve to have Jesus under his roof but he definitely deserves to have his servant healed because the man believed. Though Jesus never went under his roof because he may not deserve it as the man said, but Jesus never denied him the grace of healing and salvation of his servant because he deserved it. The man had great faith that is not seen not even in Israel.

In the eyes of men and flesh, grace is what you do not deserve or merit (that is why most people are finding it difficult to receive Jesus Christ. It also happened to Peter after Christ used his boat because they saw Jesus (full of grace and truth) as someone they do not deserve). But in the eyes of God our Father and the Holy Spirit, grace is what we deserved and merited to escape the pains and corruption of this world. The choice is yours whether you will see grace with the eyes of men and flesh or with the eyes (point of view) of God your Father.
