Rio Merrix
Rio is a self-love and self-healing advocate who has spent the past ten years encouraging women and men alike in finding the power of who they are. During her time of being home-schooled, she wrote a piece in her local newspaper about finding hope living with chronic illness. It was then that she fell in love with the power of storytelling, and went on to study creative writing (BA Hons) at Birkbeck University. When she isn't writing poetry, you can find Rio with her head stuck in a book, recording for her podcast or spending time baking in her family home, that she shares with her husband and daughter in east London.

Acknowledgements
A massive thank you to everyone at Conscious Dreams Publishing — for believing in my vision, for being kind — and always steering me in the right direction. You have given this book a voice, and for that I’ll be forever grateful.
So much love and gratitude for my parents, who have taught me that nothing is impossible when we have heart, soul, and compassion. You have always made me feel whatever I wanted was within reach, and no matter how many tries it took, I would make it in the end. You have empowered me to be the woman I am today. Thank you for instilling in me the best parts of yourselves — those tools will forever be the pillars for my life.
A huge thank you to all those who have been a part of my journey in whatever big or small way. This moment has been a long time coming, and I would be silly to think that every small interaction hasn’t made up for the bigger parts of my life — this book is my full circle.
Message from the Author
Dear Beautiful Human,
Held in your hands right now is my most treasured asset — my evolution.
Within the pages of this book are the vines of my life journey that I’ve decided to share with you, in the hope you will be inspired by your own beautiful journey, no matter what season you are at in life. There is never a better time to find yourself than right now.
Even in the very depths of our despair, I hope all of us can remember that we are magic, our healing is precious and our voice matters.
I hope somewhere between these lines, you find the different parts of yourself and your stories, and that these pages give fresh perspective on your becoming, life’s aches and pains, and the remaining chapters of
